This place became one of the most memorable parts of my trip. It was my first trip with friends, and on our very last day, we randomly decided to stop by this restaurant without any plans. Honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The vibe was amazing, the music was perfect, and the atmosphere made us want to stay longer. The food was great, but what really stood out was how comfortable and enjoyable the whole experience felt. It was the perfect way to end our trip and create one last beautiful memory together. If you're looking for a place with great energy, good music, and a wonderful overall experience, I would definitely recommend it!

It was such a random visit to this place. Me n my friend actually chose this restaurant for dinner by playing a childish game. Well game’s apart the food is really nice. The biryani we ordered was on point really tasty. The only thing disturbing element for me was the loud music. I do enjoy live music but please can you lower the volume.

I discovered this hidden gem restaurant in Gangtok based on the recommendation of our Airbnb manager. Located in Mg Marg, it offered a glimpse of the local culture with live music and locals dancing to popular Bollywood and local tunes. The vibrant ambiance and warm-colored interiors overlooking the lively Mg Marg added to the unique dining experience. Although I don't recall the exact dish names, being a pork lover, I indulged in a pork starter along with noodles during their ongoing Pork Festival. We also tried the chicken lollipop and ended our meal with delightful desserts: brownie with ice cream and gulab jamun with ice cream. The desserts were fabulous, while the noodles stood out for their simplicity and delicious flavor. However, some of the other items were too spicy for our liking. Overall, this restaurant provided an enjoyable dining experience with a touch of local charm.

ambience and music is all well but the food which really matters is awfull we ordered cream of mushroom soup which was fine , then comes the starters that makes us regret going there ordered chilly paneer which surprising was sweet the chef adds randomly cherries I anything paneer itself was bland and we found it un edible it was seems stail chilli garlic noodles was reheated and burnt to an extent that is not pleasant. we ordered mehfill kebab platter which has most of the startes as we were not sure about what will be good tandoori chicken was burnt , chicken kabab has so dry that it is not edible , chicken Tikka was over cooked prawns were dry and made sweet don't know why. fish Tikka was bland and flavourless. food wise a bad place to eat , meal being a disaster of a meal they took extremely long to prepare food.

A Deeply Upsetting Experience at Mehfill, I’ve visited Sikkim many times and always felt at home here, but my experience at Mehfill on 28th Jan 2026 genuinely shook me. The ambiance and music were nice, but the food—especially the dry chilli chicken—was disappointing. Still, I chose to give polite feedback rather than complain. What happened next left me disturbed. The manager, instead of listening, reacted with unexpected aggression and hostility. As a solo traveler who loves Gangtok, this behaviour was intimidating and completely out of place in a city known for warmth and hospitality. This incident has genuinely left a bad emotional impact, and I truly hope the authorities take this seriously so no other visitor goes through the same experience

Found a cockroach in between panneer tikka literally showing the waitress she said it would have come from outside.. and she took the plates.. then they charged us for that in the bill saying you should've canceled the dish that time instead of apologizing waitress had the audacity to argue.. anyway we didn't pay for that shit and recommend not to go there for hygienic reason even if you like the music n ambience.

Had ordered shangai paneer. It smelled weird and tasted disgusting. Hygiene is something that they don't maintain. It was an old stock I guess. Price for the drinks was very expensive. Only positive thing is that they have a good live band. Overall, not worth going
