In Gangtok we wanted to try authentic Nepali cuisine here. It is located in MG marg, opposite Gini & Johnny clothing shop. The ambience was calm, clean and not overly crowded. We tried their Thenthuk, Jhol Momo, Gyathuk, Thakali Thali and Nepali Classic Fried Chicken. All the item tasted awesome! And lastly, I personally loved their service. When we entered the restaurant they served us warm drinking water which was much needed in that snowy night. I'll surely recommend this place. ❤️

I can rave about how amazing my experience at this restaurant was It’s has a very beautiful ambience And the food and drinks are so so good My favourite dishes being the mutton sukuti , jhol momo and the Nepali thakali I will always a 100 go to this place every time I visit Gangtok

The local cuisine, the courteous staff and the star of the show, the tongba made this place our favourite in Gangtok. We went back for dinner a couple more times the same week 😃

Read a lot about this restaurant and wanted to try local dish,hence took the risk of experimenting.It was a risk worth taking. The ambience is nice and cosy,gives a feel of rural household.Service was prompt. A lot of people suggested thakali thali,we didn't feel it was great at all.Except the Pork and chicken curry and kali daal, everything else was below par. Nepali Chicken curry was heavenly and so was the pork curry. The gravy in both the curries were just fabulous.Can go with both rice/roti. The rice portion size is smaller compared to other restaurants

More than half of the items written in the menu card were not available after 7:30. We tried the thakali thali which was not anything exceptional just edible.

We read a lot about the place and so we visited here for dinner today. First we were asked to pay Rs500 for table reservations (not adjustable I.e. this would be extra + the food bill). We declined and came back 20mins later and got a table. The server took our order and we had mentioned that the crispy chicken is for our son and to make it non-spicy. He forgot to mention this to the chef. He got us the food and mentioned he forgot and checked if it was ok for our son (which was not) and so we had to return it. To which he told “ok, main ye apne paise se de dunga”. This we felt was highly unprofessional. Am sure this is our last time here. If the manager is viewing this, they must pay close attention to the behaviour and mannerisms of the working staff. Major turn off!!

LADIES! Please beware of this place. There is a staff member called Prem. I had gone to use the ladies washroom and THANKFULLY was just checking my hair and when I opened the door he was peeping through the ventilator below the door. The minute I opened the door he ran and when confronted said he was just tying his shoelaces. The other staff also didn’t seem concerned at this. Please be careful and food was also shit so might as well avoid the place altogether!!!

Pathetic customer service !!My husband ordered Nepalese fried chicken which was cold we have to repeatedly asked for the special chutney but served some stale one. After complaining to the manager, still the tabel attender rudely said chicken is cold only. We visited in month of December. One extra star have given for the veg thali which was good but it was also cold .

The worst experience ever# in the name of fermented local drink they are selling rotten drinks and food# when we complained to the manager he said as you have taken a sip of it we can not refund it# what kind of hospitality is this?without tasting any food how do we know it is bad?450rs for a rotten drink_ shame to the restaurant for fooling the tourist.
