Amazing food, amazing ambience, amazing staff The best cafe in Gangtok. So, we just saw this place while taking a stroll in the market and decided to give it a try. It was that good that we came here again the next day just so that we could try a different cuisine.

I had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant located in the heart of Gangtok, which stands out for its late-night service. During my visits in consecutive years, I was thoroughly impressed by the consistently delightful culinary experience it offered. In 2021, despite encountering a power cut in the area during our afternoon visit, the staff's dedication ensured that our dining experience remained exceptional. Although we missed out on the tandoor items due to the power outage, the other dishes we tried were truly satisfying. On our subsequent visit in 2022, we arrived during the bustling dinner hours and savored delectable treats such as fish and chips, Murgh Boti Masala, Garlic Naan, and a heavenly Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream. The brownie, in particular, was a sheer delight, with its melt-in-the-mouth texture. Every dish we enjoyed at this restaurant was incredibly satisfying and left us yearning for more.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday and the ambience of the place is one of the better ones in MG Marg. They have all types of food in their menu so we decided to try Chinese and North Indian. In North Indian we had their Tandoori non-veg platter which was a mixed bag for us as some items were good and some were average. Their tandoori chicken momos were good. In Chinese their mixed fried rice, egg noodles, vegetable manchurian and chilli chicken were all freshly made and good. Only their service is quite slow and takes time for food to come.

We visited on 15th May night. We were keen to have momo/dumplings there. We wanted to have chicken dumplings but it was not available. so we ordered veg dumplings. To my utter surprise it was too awesome in taste. We ordered swechwan chicken & a fried rice (couldn't remember the name) as main course. All items were delicious. Finished with Kiwi Royal. Till now this is the good part about the restaurant. All staffs are not good enough. While entering we wanted a window seat. But we had given seat just near by the washroom area. Meanwhile we ordered our food while sitting in that area and was waiting at the same time to get the window seat. (a couple were almost leaving the seat who were just about to pay their bill and leave). Meanwhile one waiter serve our food on the table forcibly where we were waiting. Saying seat can't be changed now. He was adamantly insisting us to be seated at the same table where we were not at all ready to be served. Finally we acquired the place we wanted to sit and they served the food on the table by the window. The waiter even asked me to carry the glasses from the table by myself (can you imagine 😆😆😆😆) Now apart from service, food is great ambience is great. After that no more issue we faced. one lady served us well with smile. NOTE to the Restaurant Manager- Be attentive what your customers are looking for After coming to the restaurant. Sometimes people want to enjoy ambience along with the food too. Last but not the least teach some basic etiquette and manners to your waiters (not all I mean)

the food service was not up to the mark, the taste was bad and made in haste. The pasta was tasteless, the fries were not properly cooked. the thupka was not good as well. you can order fried rice and Manchurian

very expensive restaurant, not worth anything about the price, the food quality, and the taste. I don't understand how they got such a rating, may be they paid for even that after charging customers
