Taking a Break in the Hills of Sikkim 🌄 Holidays are truly essential in life. While earning a living takes up most of our time, it’s equally important to pause, unwind, and recharge. That’s exactly why I headed to the serene mountains of Sikkim. One of our evenings found us strolling down the iconic Mall Road in Gangtok, soaking in the chilly mountain air and relaxed vibes. As dinnertime rolled in, we decided to check out Sher-e-Punjab. The ambiance was decent, with ample space to sit and enjoy a quiet meal. We started with tandoori chicken—it was just okay, not quite the burst of flavor we hoped for. For the main course, we ordered mutton masala and chicken bharta, paired with butter naan. The mutton masala was a letdown in terms of flavor, but the chicken bharta redeemed the meal a bit with its richer taste. All in all, it was a mixed dining experience, but the mountain charm more than made up for it. 🌲🍽️

The most pathetic food in the entire MG Marg area in all probability..!! Horrible dry n chewy chicken kababs, tasteless cream of mushroom soup which looked revolting and ridiculously bad inhouse cheese cake which looked and tasted no better than a slice of soft bread..!! Please do not make the mistake of going with the decor and the seemingly good reviews. Current status as of 2 months back - Worst than one star for food..!!!

the food is too sweet plus the servers are too smart. thy would not serve u extra bowl just because there is only 1 dal in 5 dishes which u have ordered. also, thy won't serve pyaz and salad till the food is served as this is how thy do it. super incompetent servers with a notch of dirty attitude.

Yesterday, the food was very cold. The mutton in the mutton dum biryani was not cooked well, and the salad only contained onion. In addition to that, the raita was just water.
