The Dragon Wok is located in main MG Marg which is the centre of main market in Gangtok, this popular dining place attracts both locals and tourists from places across the globe. Me and my wife really enjoyed the outdoor seating, seeing the hustle bustle of the market. The restaurant offers an extensive Japanese menu alongside local Tibetan and Chinese delicacies. Visited this place for a quick late afternoon lunch while enjoying the sunset. The ambience is really cool with the outdoor seating area overlooking the bustling MG Marg. Ordered - Singaporean Pork Ribs Shihu Soup Pork Momo Cold drinks Loved the pork ribs as the taste was quite different from the usual BBQ Pork Ribs. Didnt like the Shihu soup due to the inclusion of tofu in the mix. Pork momo was usual.

The best thing about this place is it's location - just in the heart of MG Marg and its exterior facade of two dragons that give it an overbearing presence. Decor and Ambiance is nice. Waiters are warm and hospitable. But Now coming to food... Menu is elaborate, offering a wide range of choices and options from both Japanese and Chinese but prices are high compared to portions. Presentation and plating is okay. Taste wise, it is nice. But quantity of the main course dishes specially different variants of Chowmein and Fried Rice is very less. We had dinners two nights back to back. On the first night, we tried Chicken Bang Bang Salad, Prawn Tempura Sushi, Egg Fried Rice, Steamed Buns and Chicken Stew with Potatoes in Black Pepper Sauce. We had Chicken Katsu, Chicken Chowmein and Chilly Chicken on the second day dinner.

It is located at M.G Marg. The two huge dragon statues just stands out and is very easy to locate. We went there to have our dinner before leaving for a trip to North Sikkim. We ordered 🔹Veg Sweet Corn Soup - This was a disaster. Never had any soup ever which tasted so sweet. It was very difficult to gulp it down. Not recommended at all. 🔹Dry Chicken Chilli - Expected it to be really dry and spicy but it turned out just opposite. Lots of gravy was added and so the taste was so bland. 🔹Egg Noodles - This was good. Had nice taste and flavours. Liked it. 🔹Mixed fried rice - This was the only dish I liked a lot. The rice was really tasty and was in good quantity. 🔹Prawn Chilly - The size of prawns was good. The gravy tasted nice. The overall experience was below average. Expected a lot but did not meet my expectations. Probably one of the most overhyped restaurants of Gangtok.

Food was bad, like Bad bad. (Lemon chicken too bitter; Biriyani was too spicy.) Ambience was nice. Musicians were fav, but the surrounding sound was too loud.

Food is not so great. Don't order any mutton dish as It's blunt in taste. I mean not spicy at all, it's just like stew kind of. I am a bengali and didn't find any taste in the dish of mutton. Chicken Wings were though edible. But not so "Ahamori"(excellent) kind of. In the morning time you won't get momo/dumplings. Rather order some drink (mocktail/cocktails) along with some starter to enjoy the ambience. we ordered Mutton in Pot (can't remember the whole name) 2/5 ( for mutton quantity)Rs 510 Korean Chicken wings 2.5/5 Egg fried rice 2/5 (it was dry like hell) Blue lagoon 2/5(quantity 👎) To enjoy the ambience the restaurant is great but not at all for the food. Try at your own risk

worst service. they don't even have to courtesy to provide water for the guests. water is provided only after food order is placed.
