Apetite Classic Located just opposite St Xaviers College Mapusa, Appetite Classic is the best place to hangout with friends or family whilst enjoying some delicous food and refreshing drinks. The restaurant is made up of 2 floors, the lower being the AC section and the floor above a non ac seating with a pictursque mountain view on one side and the college on the other. There are also about 4 non ac seating tables on the verandah of the ground floor. There is ample parking for two wheelers infront of the restaurant as well as 4 wheelers towards the left hand side. We chose to sit on the floor above so that we could enjoy our food while admiring the view. Our server for the day was Ryan, a young lad who welcomed us with a smile and took us to our table. He was well versed with the menu and recommended us with a few specialities and crowd favorites of Appetite Tales. Heres what we tried: Drinks: * Mojito * Appetite Special * Blue Hawaian - the drinks were presented well and looked very colorful. If we had to pick our fav amongst the 3 it would be the mojito. The mojito was very refreshing and done right. The Appetite Special had a mango fruity taste to it. The alcohol in the blue hawaian was very distinct and kind of stung the toungue with the first sip. It was presented with a fresh pineapple slice. The drinks however could have been much better according to us. Appetizers: * Hara Bhara Kebab * Squids Recheado - the kebabs were crispy on the outside, topped with cashew nut & onion rings & served with a not so spicy green chutney. The presentation was on point as the flower carving of tomato made the dish look really pretty. The fried green peas added more crunch to the dish a feeling we loved! The Squids were well done, but we wished the quantity would have been a bit more. The size of the squid rings however were decent and the authentic goan recheado masala made this dish explode with flavor in the mouth. The fresh vegetable salad served with it did well to balance the taste and not make the dish too spicy. Main Course: * Fish Thali * Chicken Honkong Noodles * Paneer Tikka Masala * Butter Garlic Naan - The best amongst all was the Thali! The fresh rava fried chonak fish was delicous. The lady finger & prawn curry tasted so good with the hot rice. Also, the kismoor & sol khadi was just perfect. The chicken in the honkong noodles had flavor to it and wasnt bland as in many other places. The noodles were thin & not sticky or oily. We loved the cashew pieces in this dish too. Paneer Tikka Masala was not so bad either. The paneer pieces were decent and the gravy was not overly spicy or oily. It paired perfectly with the soft & non rubbery Naan. Dessert: * Fruit Salad with Ice Cream * Serradura - The freshly cut papaya, pineapple, watermelon, apple and sweet lime tasted so good with that generous scoop of vanilla ice cream in the mouth! Everything just melted in the mouth and the feeling was just so amazing & satisfying. Serradura is our favourite portuguese goan sweet dish. Its rare to find on menus. We were so happy that appetite classic had it. We defintely recommend Appetite Classice for a fun family dining experience. We recommed trying their seafood & thalis. Yesterday I visited with my friends to Appetite classic. It was really amazing experience with karoke music. They have two seperate dining place one was at ground and another at upper deck. The staff was also supportive and poliet in natuer. We had Cocktail 1. Bull Frog 2. Caipiroska Bothe the cocktails was so refreshing. I recommended the bull frog cocktails. Starter 1. Panner chilly 2. Squid stuff Panner chilly was very yummy and mouthwatering in taste. The starter i like was squid stuff having a stuffing of prawns 🍤. Must try this starter and it was very soft and delicious. Main course 1. Prawns fried rice The fried rice was full of prawns compare to chicken fried rice you should must try the prawns rice. Prawns was perfectly cooked and yummy. Dessert 1. Caramel Custard Must visit this restaurant with your family and friends. Food- 5/5 Taste- 5/5 Ambience- 5/5

I visited Appetite Classic for a fine Saturday afternoon lunch and must say they have a comfortable and cozy ambiance which makes you feel at ease.😍👌🏻 You can either dine in in the A/C section or opt to seat at the rooftop dining area. We chose the rooftop section which gives a pleasant hilltop view. It’s a spacious place which can accommodate large groups.👌🏻 🍹Speaking about the food & drinks: We tried the Planters Punch mocktail & Singapore Sling cocktail. The mocktail was more on a sweeter side but tasted super refreshing while the cocktail was gin based. 🧆For appetisers we ordered: Squids butter garlic; well cooked, flavourful and yummy😋 Paneer tikka; soft paneer with mildly spicy marination. Good option for vegetarians.👌🏻 🥘For mains we went for: Appetite classic chicken; this dish had good amount of tandoori chicken pieces with chicken gravy which resembled the taste of butter chicken. Tasty and impressive quantity. Must try 😋 A fish thali consisting of rice, prawns curry, kingfish fry, dry prawn kismoor, squid chilly, bhaji, salad, pickle and sol kadi. The quantity of the thali was good however the size of the fry fish was a little disappointing but overall the taste was nice.😋👍🏻 And we finally ended the meal with some serradura! 🌟Overall food and service is good and dishes are also reasonably priced. They serve a variety of Goan, Chinese and North Indian food too. I will definitely recommend you to try this restaurant for lunch/dinner. It is close to Xavier’s College Mapusa and is easily accessible through google maps. For more food recommendations in Goa, follow @foodie_on.a_roll on Instagram 😉

Food was good and the service was great. just the batter over prawns and squids was too much. it was overcooked which made it feel like rubber while eating
