I visited this place twice within a span of 5 days during my holiday in Goa. That should tell you how much I loved it! They offer some truly sumptuous treats like cinnamon rolls, banana rolls, mango cheesecake, apple crumble (highly recommended), and lemon tarts. They also have freshly baked baguettes and sourdoughs. Along with this, you can get your caffeine fix with a chilled cold coffee that saved my life on a hot afternoon! I also tried their last bencher and grandma’s beef patties sandwiches which was simply yum! The sandwiches were bursting with flavour, and packed with fresh ingredients that fed the soul. Apart from the usual, they also offer jams, chocolates, postcards, and bags, if you’re looking for some thoughtful souvenirs. The owners are extremely helpful, warm and knowledgable so definitely get their opinion if you’re stumped. Lastly, they close by 1 pm, so be sure to reach in good time to avoid missing out on the freshly baked goodies, they can run out! Parking is available at the location.

AMAZING SANDWICHES Found this cafe on google. Bread was very soft and fresh, even the meat in the sandwich was fresh and good quality. Very tasty, fresh and excellent quality food. Food was not at all expensive so the quality is way better than the money the charge.

Google Maps leads you to the place but you have to get out of the car to find it, opposite the Panchayat, you won't see it at first but you have to find it. And once you've found it, it's a beautiful quaint bakery with amazing fresh bread, coffee, croissants etc.

Best cinnamon rolls around!!! They've got a great menu to choose from. Bakery goods hit home alongside a coffee, from the crumbles to the pies but I will repeat BEST CINNAMON ROLLS.

Heard about this bakery from my friend and it's worth visit. Deserts are too good and so does the coffee. They make fresh items.

Heard of this German bakery in Benaulim that bakes fresh sourdough, baguettes and cinnamon rolls? Bakery Pausenbrot is named after the German word for sourdough sandwiches called ‘Pausenbrot’ that mothers make for their kids to take to school every morning. The cafe does have little elements of that theme running through - with the menu designed like a school notebook, names of sandwiches named after school-characters (like last bencher and first bencher) being served in tiffin boxes. They have great coffee and do a decent cheesecake and other sweet bakes.

Went with high expectations on a hot afternoon. They do not have an AC section but we sat upstairs on a bunk with a pedestal fan and it was tolerable. Ordered chicken and veg sourdough sandwiches, underwhelming. Their dark chocolate donut was yummy, cold coffee can be skipped. Apple crumble was super delicious. Next time will only pick sweets from this place

We went to the place for having a casual evening coffee but the place was full, giving them full credit for amazing food. We had a takeaway then for coffee and cinnamon roll, and that’s amazing and trust me, I’ve had a lot of cinnamon rolls. It is a Quiet and cozy space for relaxing your mind!

So we ordered the lemon tart to give it a try and must say we loved it. The texture of the tart was crunchy and just melts in the mouth. If you are in the south goa a place to visit. You can spend your time with your loved ones at this bakery that gives you a feel of Germany in goa.

All good reviews are mostly for coffee and bakery; which is fair While placing the order for samdwiches, we were assisted in making the choice but we were not informed that the mozerella cheeses will be cold, that they do not have ketchup in their cafe and that it is made only in german style; which is a must for an Indian customer to know. We felt like we were having dry hard sourdough bread with loads of tomatoes! The pork quantity was too less; just like a thin layer on the bread and nothing more. We didn’t have the taste buds for those flavours so we ordered a drink which was suggested by them only. Later they themselves told that it is not ready to be served and it will take 2 days more to ferment! There were no customers sitting inside the cafe during breakfast hours inspite of them providing a decent ambiance and books to read; may be they need to do certain improvising in their staff’s briefing and responding style or food offerings. The cinnamon roll was not properly warm and the best thing we had was the lemonade.
