After the initial touristy trips to Goa , I started settling down at shacks more. Always staying at CelJoan (look it up if you need accommodation), beach queen was just 5 min walk to the beach. I was so happy with my initial experiences that i looked up this place in Zomato to write this. Shack wise : view: absolutely stunning, uncrowded view of the beach. Three layers of sitting as per your preference. Firstly inside the shack, or on the verandah or finally on the beach sand. I would suggest to take the verandah seat close to the stairs. The verandah and the beach seating are after 6pm when the sun beds are removed. You can relax inside before 6. So ambiance wise its simply beach front on your plate. Service : excellent, Sitaram (one of the gentleman serving) is a loveable fellow. He took care of me or my friends each time i visited. If you go to beach queen, just pay your regards to Sitaram and he will take care of the rest. Crowd : predominantly foreigners. Mostly Russians. Very low indian presence. But very friendly. Music : simply awesome and the sound reaches the beaches. Have a nice groove whenever you want. And they play sweet disposition. I remember a moment people going crazy when the track started to play Food and pricing : extensive menu, very affordably priced. Weird it may sound, but do yourself a favour and have one of the best steak of your life there if you read this review. This beats lazy day Brittos any day of the week. I was surprised the first time. Drinks are very economically priced. Blenders pride being the costliest whiskey. But my tip is ask whatever you want for a good time and they will arrange. That said, beach queen is a big part of my goa story and trust me it ain't over yet. If its your first time in goa and you want to spend days clicking dch at chapora's and free wifi to upload it ,then give it some time. Relax a day at beach queen. Don't leave before you spend at-least 5-6 hours. Then you will know why it is special. 5 stars. What else . And yes these are the places you don't tell much people about, as you don't want it to become too famous. But it will be very soon.

I like going thru reviews of hotels and restaurants when I’m travelling for leisure. Found great reviews of this place but they were quite dated being back to 2016. Still went ahead to try it. 2023 (seven years since the specific review I had read) Shack is well maintained. Still has 3 levels - beach, verandah and inside covered. They also have a private area for parties with a swing Food: not bad and we liked all that was ordered. From golden fried prawns to noodles to naan and butter chicken. Soft CHAPATTI was prepared for my toddler. This Shack has clear and uncrowded view of the beach. The cool breeze and view of the beach was fully available. Since the swimming area was not in front of the shack and ended 10 metres before, view was clear till the horizon. Service was good. I for got to ask the name of our server but he hailed from Jajpur, Odishaaa and took good care. There are 2 playful (only if you want to) Daschunds. I can keep writing about the place. Next visit to Goa, I’ll visit this place for breakfast.

visited this place when I visited Goa for the first time , great place , great food , free wifi .... & that beautiful view of Calangute Beach , you get a 5 for that !

The staff was wonderful, particularly Shiva was absolutely kind and really respectful. My experience in Beach Queen was wonderful

Best food in Goa. I really enjoyed eating there. Been there twice in 3 days. Highly recommended if you are in North Goa

I had ordered #russianbreakfast #grillenchicken #cocktailsausages #bakedbeans #frenchfries🍟 #friedeggwithcheeseontop #cofee #вкусный(yummy ) the place is mostly crowded with foreigners , order comes number wise it's very slow but worth waiting search the bartender named #jimmy if u are not from india he knows most of the foreign language overall awesome place and average on pocket for so good taste #continentalfoodwithindiantouch overall awesome place

Ambience was good and so is the view facing the sea 😊 rates are reasonable too. However food was okay okay and we had chicken with garlic sauce but the view was worth it.

I liked the ambience. But the service was tooo slow.. The staff was very rude. I liked the food a bit, but their dal fry verryyy delicious!! 😌😌😋😋
