We had their park slope sandwich, asked them if they could make their hot chocolate iced, and their cobbler hill. The cobbler hill was mid, my partner ate it, so I wouldn’t be able to give exact feedback. They did say it just tasted like cream cheese and not much else, and what’s the point of an “artisanal deli 700 rupee sandwich” if all you can taste is cream cheese. For that price point, and with largely only sandwiches on their menu, you’d imagine a KILLER sandwich. Theirs did not hit the spot at all, and I’m disappointed since I was really hoping to find another go to sandwich place. The foccacia had no body, no solid crust to bite into, and got soggy with the filling. The filling was fresh but not as flavourful as I’d have liked. Also I know you CAN make a boss foccacia sandwich because I had a foccacia eggplant parmigiana at Maybae’s nook pop up and that bread HELD and amplified the sauces. They told me their make their bread in houses and honestly, what a shame. The chocolate milk was just sugar and hersheys syrup and honestly, a waste of calories (and money). Save your money and eat at Larder and folk instead (boss sandwiches).
