Mind was blown! What amazing food and service. The food is presented like art, the staff give the best recommendations and are keen to explain the food, culture and concepts behind their menu. Royce and Dilshad went out of their way to serve us. Such great hospitality! Cannot praise them enough. Must visit when you’re in South Goa!

Absolutely fantastic food! Each dish was exceptional especially the tonnantle bangde (mackeral starter) & koyloleo with pork chorizo as well as the patra de goa. Great stuff and Presley was super helpful throughout :)

Had an amazing meal with excellent service. Dilshad was very good. His recommendations were amazing and elevated the entire dining experience for us. Definitely going to be back here soon.

Good Food, great service and value for money, we ordered 5-6 food items from mains and small plates, Urrak and infused Fenny in our 2-3 visits, entire experience was completely worth it

Visited Cavatina in South Goa recently and had a slightly underwhelming experience, especially considering the reputation the place holds. To start with, the cocktail menu was limited to feni-based drinks. While I understand and appreciate the Goan focus, a little more variety would have been nice. That said, the bartender was kind enough to make me a Picante on request, which I really appreciated. Where the experience dipped was with the service. Since I’m new to Goan cuisine, I asked for food recommendations—but the response I received was along the lines of “it depends on your palate, you would know better.” While not rude, it felt dismissive. A bit more guidance or enthusiasm would have gone a long way in enhancing the experience. Another odd moment was when I requested for 2 from the bread basket and was told the kitchen was closed and considering these are usually pre-prepared items, it felt unnecessarily rigid. Overall, while the place has its charm and some positives, the experience lacked warmth and attentiveness. With a more accommodating approach, especially towards guests unfamiliar with the cuisine, it could have been much better.
