We happened to dine out at quite a few eateries during our visit to Palolem & Dropadi turned out to be the best. Located on the beautiful Palolem beach, the restaurant offers a captivating experience particularly in the evening. Since it was a vegetarian day for us, we had to settle for a Spagetti with mushroom in white sauce and french fries and both were spotless. Needless to say that you need to try out sea food and continental delicacies to evalute these restaurants in Goa. On that note , I am looking forward to my next visit to Dropadi to explore their wide variety of sea food fares..

The food was fresh and prepared meticulously. We ordered: 1. The French onion soup - very flavourful broth and perfect texture. 2. Chilly Garlic Prawns - fresh and delicious, marinated perfectly and served with right dips. 3. Chicken Zakuti - nicely cooked in a traditional manner 4. Strawberry Daiquiri- Brilliant fruity drink. Must try. 5. Seafood (Prawn) Pesto Pasta - creamy, well cooked and served with fresh marinated soft prawns. Staff is courteous. View is great. Must visit.

A beach view place to hang out Had Butter garlic prawns suggested by them. Tastes good. It’s a platter with wedges, prawns with garlic sauce, bell peppers and salad. Beach view is good. Overall worth a try.

Misleading information basis the menu shared on Zomato v/s actual the price may be 2 to 3 time higher. We ordered Prawn tikka masala, where the gravy was similar to any veg gravy. Pasta was supposed to be pink (mix) which was not the case and could only taste tomato puree... after requesting it got changed.

We’ve been visiting dropadi every year since 2018. Recently we’ve noticed how “unwilling to work” the serving staff is. The food isn’t that great either. The staff doesn’t bother to explain the portion size while we order, so we end up over ordering. When we reached at 9:30pm on a Wednesday, the unwelcoming staff told us that they close at 11:00pm, we didn’t ask them Btw, this was the first thing they told us as soon as we stepped in. At 10:45pm, they straight up bought the bill, saying that the kitchen is closed without asking us for our last order. Never again am I visiting this extremely well known and popular restaurant in Palolem.

The behaviour of the staff is very rude. The food quality is okay , but the portion was not enough. On the Rawa Kingfish Fry, it is supposed to be 4 pieces but they served 3 regular pieces, and the 4th piece is very very small. The waiters said this is how we do things, you can not question us. they declined to escalate to the manager/owner. The same waiter asked me to go and ask other customers eating there and the fact that they are not complaining! the waiters declined to give their names as well! we had Rawa Kingfish Fry, Garlic Naan, Chicken Mughlai, Jeera Rice, and Kashmiri Dum Aloo.

3rd grade restaurants run by local gundas. The servers think they are the owners and treat guests like peasants. The food quality is at par with roadside standards. The attitude of the staff is absolutely disgusting. I won’t be surprised if they run an alternative escort business in parallel, and this “restaurant” is just a cover up. My friends tried their biryani has had food poisoning for 3 days. Avoid at all costs!
