Fat Fish Restaurant truly impressed me! The food was outstanding, and the fish meals deserve a special mention. It was fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. Every element on the plate felt thoughtfully prepared, from the seasoning to the accompaniments. It was on the expensive side but it was the best fish meal I had in north Goa. If you love a good fish meals,this place is a must-visit. Fat Fish has definitely set a high bar, and I’ll be coming back for those fish meals again no doubt about it!

The place has a good ambienec. The food is really very good and the the service was also great. Saniya from the management was helpful. Since i visited on a weekday it was not that crowded but if you ahve not visited thia for seafood Its a Must visit 👍🏻

What an amazing Pizza we had here. Most importantly the prices are apt compared to most of the over priced places in Goa! Would certainly visit again.

Good food and ambience , however, the male supervisor is extremely arrogant person !! Their staff told me a different price of an item which was not on the menu and then they asked me literally double for that. When I informed them to rectify the bill, the supervisor was extremely arrogant and rude, and said that their staff was not aware… instead of apologising to us, he scold his staff for wrong price and asked us to pay full price (not what they quoted before). His arrogancy is a big problem in the restaurant. Dude needs to respect customers! Apart from that, amazing food and ambience !

I visited Fat Fish on 25th December with a group of friends. We had a reservation via Zomato and came in after beach activities, dressed casually. From the beginning, the experience was disappointing. Although we could clearly see a couple of tables free inside the restaurant, we were told at the reception that the place was “fully packed” and asked to wait for 30 minutes. We were then suggested to sit at the bar counter, order food there, and later shift to a table when one became available. This is extremely inconvenient, as no one wants to be disturbed mid-meal and move tables. When we went inside to look around, we found a corner table and asked if we could sit there. We were told yes. However, after sitting down, no one came to take our order for nearly 45 minutes. During this entire time, we could clearly see other customers being served promptly. Some staff members were standing next to certain tables and treating those guests like VIPs, while we were completely ignored. We tried calling the staff multiple times. One waiter finally responded and told us that he was only responsible for delivering food, not taking orders. He pointed out the staff who were supposed to take orders, but even after calling them, they did not respond. We then called the manager and explained that it had already been 15–20 minutes and no one had taken our order. He apologized, repeated that they were “totally packed,” and assured us that someone would come shortly. Unfortunately, nothing happened for another 25 minutes, and the manager avoided eye contact afterward. We were eventually served only because one waiter seemed genuinely shocked that we hadn’t been attended to and escalated it himself. When the food finally arrived (after being told it would take around 30 minutes), the beef steak was extremely overcooked and unpleasant to eat. We chose not to complain further, as the overall experience had already been exhausting. Other dishes were average at best. What made the experience worse was what followed. Before we could even finish our food, we were asked multiple times to pay the bill immediately, with staff saying they were about to close. We explained that we were served very late and would finish eating first. Despite this, another staff member came again after a few minutes, followed by the manager insisting on payment. We settled the bill when we were almost done. However, as we were leaving, we could clearly see other tables still ordering food and being served, and the restaurant remained open for at least another 30 minutes. This made it very clear that we were being rushed out unfairly. This was not just slow service — it felt like selective service and neglect. We paid the same amount as everyone else, waited patiently, and behaved politely, yet were treated very differently. The experience was embarrassing and completely ruined the mood of our trip that day. Good food alone does not make a restaurant. Basic hospitality, fairness, and respect for customers were missing here. Very disappointing experience and not something I would recommend.

I came with my family for 2nd time. But this time I had very bad experience. I had ordered chicken biryani, fish tikka , paneer tikka masala and butter roti. Order served was very late. Secondly i had requested for Schezwan sauce because I like little spicy food. Waiter and manager on duty refused the same this on chargeable basis amount 80/- rupees for hardly 30 to 50 gms of sauce. Like seriously I have eaten in lots of normal to 5 star restaurants they never charge for sauces.This is rediculous. I will never visit this outlet anymore.

The prawns recheado suggested by our waitress was extremely spicy. We couldn’t get past the starters, it burnt our tongues so badly. The Restaurant did not tender any apology or make amends.

There is no staff, asked them to take our order for 20 mins and no response, even at a very low occupancy. Took them 15 mins to get water.
