It is located opposite the Mary Immaculate Conception Church. And the best option for lunch after the visit. The restaurant is quite popular with the locals. They have two floors for dingn, the ground floor is non-AC and the first floor is AC. We opted for AC seating. We got a table immediately. The ambiance is plain and simple. Staff is courteous and guided us for our order. We tired the following dishes- 1. Prawns curry rice - Well cooked prawns in delicious gravy (with coconut milk). Savoury and delicious with steam rice. 2. Chonak fillet - Marinated Boneless fillet which was well cooked and was delicious. 3. Lime Soda - Perfect to have with your lunch. The dishes are pocket friendly and highly recommended.

The best butter garlic squids i have ever had in goa. Chonak fry and mussels were also prepared in goan style. George is a must visit restaurant if you are around Panaji and it's been a every year ritual for me to come here. Do ask for Uraq in case it is May-July. Patron at the AC section is very kind and energetic. Don't expect a good ambience but typical goan food and drinks will not fail to impress you.

Wow!! Highly recommended place to all tourists to have the orginal taste of goa with a menu which represents goan cuisine and also a bar with limited options...ita a small cosy place and which helps to be peace and neat and hygienic...right opposite to the famous Mary immaculate conception chruch....for me 6star for food and service

A very homely cosy little place. Pocket friendly with very courteous staff. The food is freshly prepared and has the authentic taste of Goa. The soroptel, pork sausage fry, sausage bread, squid garlic butter fry are some of the dishes we ate on several occasions. A place you should visit when in Panjim.

Love George’s. Come here every time I come to Goa. Their food never disappoints and it very budget friendly. Only thing that I wasn’t a fan off was that the mutton curry came with only two proper pieces of meat and the rest was just fat pieces.

If in panaji dont miss this place at all. Most authentic goan food available with a bar. Beef toungue roast, pork chilly fry, mutton sukha go for it without any hesitation. Dont over do the tougue (unless you hv the Appétit)

The food is authentic with a rustic charm. Tried the Monday Special Beef Stew — absolutely delicious!

George is am old favorite down in Panjim. Some good old Goan food at this no nonsense restaurant is a must if you are in Panjim and need a quick bite. We had Pork Chilli Fry, Rava fried Chonak, Prawn Curry Rice. Needless to say between the two of us we did over order but did not regret it. That's if you don't count the sleepiness ij our meeting straight after :)

Great staff and service!! Food is average.. the restaurant itself has an old world feel. It’s an experience worth having👍🏻

Food is very costly although the ambience is good. Very disappointed with the pricing. I suggest Miski at the foot of the Patto bridge. George is all hype.
