One of the best bar experiences and certainly one of the two highlights for our last visit to Goa. On a Thursday evening, after bouncing around overtly commercialised establishments of Orzan Beach, my wife and I were recommended to try Hideaway. Seeing that it was a building away from our hotel, we decided to step in for a night cap to try and redeem the evening. Little did we expect the treat we got and find ourselves making reservations for a live event two nights later. Hideaway, true to its name is a nondescript bar that one can easily miss when zipping around Orzan Beach road. On Thursday, we were met with Caroline who cheerfully showed us to our table. We were served by Orko who brought us two delicious cocktails, one called Obscura and another custom made Gin based cocktail with Guava. During our conversation with Orko, we got to know that two nights later, there was a Latin Jazz Band due to play so we decided to make a reservation and come back. On Saturday, we arrived at our scheduled time. Due to a larger than anticipated crowd prior to the event, we had to wait for a few minutes for a table to be assigned. Soon enough, we were shown to our table and introduced to Debo and Abdul. The next four hours were pure bliss. Hideaway had everything working for it. The ambience, the music, the crowd profile and an extremely efficient crew who never once delayed an order of ours made the evening one for the books. Kudos to both Debo & Abdul who kept a watch and ensured that no one crowded around our table. It was close to a perfect experience. The cocktails and food at Hideaway are delectable. Options for food are limited (it is afterall a cocktail bar and not a full blown restaurant) and for vegetarians, even more so. The Aglio Olio Spaghetti is terrific (had it on both days) and for dessert, they offered us a Ganache made of dark chocolate that was delicious. The profile of the crowd was very cool and the live act was followed by a lovely shamanesque atmosphere of percussions and dance. We stayed until the place shut down and stumbled back to our hotel. If you're ever in North Goa (or anywhere in Goa for that matter), do try this place. The place is adults only and offers a wonderful relaxed atmosphere that lends itself to conversations and a terrific experience overall. Top marks to the crew running the place!

One of the best and most chilled out place we have ever been to!! Came across this place while visiting Hill Top, and what a surprise! Great music and vibes with top notch bartenders. Super active, efficient, and quick. The service was world class. On researching, found it is #5 in 30 best bars in Asia. The reason for less reviews is people are so busy enjoying there. Very much in demand, the place was packed. The food was great, but the vibes and drinks were better. My must visit whenever in Goa! No second thoughts, this is by far the best bar in India. The bartenders would ensure that every cocktail and mocktail is to the perfection. Perfect coordination between the staff. Must must visit!

thiS is ma fav bar in north ,even though host wer not very welcoming and very cold ,guy s i am into hospitality buissne frm past 15. yrs ,i have multiple resto,but still i like to b humble anyway its ur call ,any way positive part isfood is grt ,had best prawns butter gqrlic in ma life ,coctails r good ,bartendrs stole the show ,they hav excellent dj,amazing music amazing crowd ,must visit in north goa atleast for once worth it ,if u ask me if i want visit again my answer is no ,remember one thing everyday is not a sunday ,i am rating this place 5 because the food,music and cocktail deserves it minus attitude

Had a really nice evening at Hideaway. The vibe, music and overall setup were great, but what stood out was how smoothly everything was handled. Asang looked after our table and was just very easy to deal with. Friendly, attentive and not overbearing at all. She checked in at the right times, got our orders right, and had some good suggestions without pushing anything. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and well taken care of. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and adds a lot to the place. Would definitely come back.

Honestly, the best place I have been in all of India. The food, the exceptional service, the vibe are all worthy of a 10 star rating. Super cool, super cosy and totally iconic. A must visit in Goa!

Right on the main road but seemingly tucked away - true to its name, cute place with amazing food! Every dish was right on the money. So impressed. Chorizo won hands down. Great service too!

Heard a lot about this place. To be honest the food and the drinks were average and not that great. However we did enjoy the vibe of this place. It was pretty chill and easy going. Can be nice spot for dates or social gatherings with friends or family.
