A quaint little place on one of the busiest streets in Goa - Candolim. You'll find not less than 100 restaurants competing against this one. Most of them have bright lights, a big setup, live music and 100 items on the menu. Compared to them, this place had 90s pop English music with a rustic setup. What it lacked in pomp n show, it definitely made up in food, flavor and service. Run by a family who came to Goa about two decades ago, this place offers lip smacking Chinese Tibetan food that's to die for. The place was ultra clean and so were the washrooms. Prakash was great at his service & recommendations, he understood what we wanted and delivered brilliantly. If I were to rate this place, would say Far exceeds expectations. Must add to your Goa itinerary. P.S. if you can't handle real spice, don't ask for spicy food.

We had the chicken momos, prawn momos (fried, to try something new), thukpa and shabhagleb. The food was really good (even though the thukpa wasn’t like we’re used to it was tasty and filling). Perfect place to sit back and have a chilled beer and comfort food. Super value for money. Will definitely go again. Special mention to the dessert (caramel cream/caramel custard, and apple toffee) which was so, so delicious.

This place is like home cooked soul food. You won’t feel guilty after eating here coz the food is so fresh, light and nice. The Bean and tofu stew is something you shouldn’t miss from here. My friends who eat seafood loved the grilled king fish salad and also the Goan fish curry was something they raved about. The menu is very interesting and I would definitely want to go back to try out different things.

Your search for authentic Tibetan cuisine in Goa ends at Himalaya Bar And Restaurant. Family run business.Lovely place & Excellent food. Home made awesome momos or i would say THE BEST momos in the area. Worth a visit to this restaurant, if you are craving for having some Tibetan delicacy. Prices were reasonable. Will surely visit again ! Momos / Dumplings highly recommended !!!

Quite place with a very low crowd. Staff was super polite. Ordered mushroom chicken soup. It was amazing. Tried prawns biryani and it turned out great. Lemon tossed chicken was super zesty and tasted excellent. SUPERB PLACE FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT PREFER GOING TO CROWDED PLACES

Beautiful, quiet, homely place. They had good music and a good ambience. The staff was very polite and made good suggestions for us. We ordered thukpas, momos and Rhuchotse which was really good and filling. Absolutely enjoyed our dinner and will definitely go back.

This is my second visit here in the last couple of years - both for casual dinner away from the Goan party scene... overall rating on food is good and it is consistent.. ambience is very peaceful... service is very friendly.. look for their Tibetan and fish dishes on the menu.. you can also bring our own wine and liquor and they charge corkage at an affordable cost.. great restaurant to visit if you wanna sit back and catch up... Ambience / Food / Service - 4 Value for money - 5

Staff is not at all friendly they do not behave with Indians. 4-5 tables are empty and not reserved, we asked to sit inside because of the weather they denied, despite of having vacant table and no reservation, even one table got empty in front of use, but they still choose to give that table. This is how you get treated in your own country!!!
