This place far exceeds any expectations you may have from a japanese restaurant in India. They have a beautiful cocktail program, all the three drinks we ordered were spot on. The menu very well describes the ingredients as well as what to expect from the drink. Their small plates, cold and hot are near perfection - flavourful with great ingredients and served so beautifully. The seared scallops are to die for. Their nigri sushi is generous with the fish and flavoured perfectly. Even their desserts are to die for. We absolutely loved their sesame ice cream and nama chocolate mousse. The service was quick and efficient. The place takes on goa vibes.. spacious and airy... much better than the bandra outlet. The portion sizes are small and the meal can get expensive very quickly. But honestly I would recommend the place whole heartedly for a special occassion or if you are a fan of japanese food. All in all.. an absolute must visit.

Flavors were on point. Portions are small. The chef comes and personally hosts each table, and explains the dish which was good. We mostly had appetizers. The drinks were great and clarified. There were a mix of known and unknown flavors

Good food, cute ambience.. perfect for a date or a lowkey dinner. Good cocktails The grilled portobello mushrooms blew our minds !!! Must try Chicken & tofu dumplings were good too

We visited Izumi recently. The food was okay and the quality was decent, but the overall experience was not very impressive. The indoor seating has almost no ambience. The outside pool area is surrounded by red sand, which does not look nice and it is difficult to even take a good picture there. The bathrooms were also not in great condition and the overall place did not feel very well maintained. There is nothing particularly special about the atmosphere. It mostly felt like people just sitting and eating without any real vibe or experience. Even though the food was decent, the prices did not feel justified because the overall experience was not very satisfying.

Food is no doubt good , credit goes to chef and menu curator, But worst service for the price 1. Food served in chipped bowls 2. Team of only 2 service persons for 8 tables in open areas 3. Very difficult to even get water 4. Main course delayed because kot couldn’t be punched due to bad network/ system issues, surprisingly no alternative manual system was available Paid approximately 11k , 5. Good food very bad service

The sushi size was so tiny not even enough for a single person plus the taste wasn’t that good and the chicken gyoza was so bad, don’t try there matcha ice cream. The cocktail was average.

Really mediocre food with a side of terrible attitude. Not warm, food is very very very okay. If you are travelling to Assagao, the food has to be mind-blowing. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Also, they had a septic tank issue near bathroom so weird shit smell…

I’ve had much better sushi in Goa ! This is wayyyy wayyyy average for the pricing and quality
