In the heart of Assagao, Khuraak brings ancient Indian food traditions back to life. The standout feature? Dishes are served on a chulha, the traditional clay stove, keeping food warm as you eat—turning a meal into a slow, soulful ritual. Chef Ahmed’s cooking is honest and deeply flavorful. The Lucknowi chicken curry is refined and aromatic, while the Meerut ki ghar ki dal evokes pure comfort. The mutton biryani is a masterclass in subtlety—fragrant, perfectly textured, and cooked with care. Khuraak’s space is warm and unpretentious, much like the hospitality of its founders, Captain Verma and his son Rajnish, whose presence brings a personal, heartfelt touch. In a village known for its food, Khuraak stands out not with innovation, but with tradition—offering not just a meal, but a memory. It’s a rare, grounded experience in today’s fast-paced dining world.

My Friend wanted to go to this place the moment we landed. he said it was the hot spot. I was reading the reviews and got sort of nervous from some of the negative comments. We had reservations on a Monday for 8:00pm where it wouldn't be too crazy and hectic. It was a very nice place. From the outside it looks nothing spectacular, but the inside was gorgeous. I knew what to expect with prices so I wasn't surprised. It's nice for a date night/celebration. The food was surprisingly delicious. Usually high end places are sometimes a tourist trap but the food was amazing and the waiters were kind.

⭐️ Exceptional Hospitality That Made Our Evening Unforgettable ⭐️ "We were greeted with a warm, genuine smile as soon as we stepped through the door — not just treated as customers, but valued guests. Our server was the perfect blend of attentive and respectful: checking in just the right amount, not hovering, and anticipating our needs without us having to ask. When I mentioned a dietary preference, they even went the extra mile by consulting the chef to tailor a suggestion — now that’s care and attention that truly elevate a meal. Best ever experience in KHURAAK

Fancy names of dishes, experimental fusion drinks, ancient indian cuisine, trying too hard - except for the tikki chaat everything else was a let down.
