I love this place as it’s one of the peaceful place in south goa. The prices are good but they are worth . I would recommend people to try there Black Russian if you love coffee only *

A friend of mine suggested this place to me for their seafood preparations. Therefore I decided to check it out. Oh! By the way, this place is part of Taj Exotica and to reach this place, you will be taken in a golf cart right from the entry of the hotel to the place itself. The ambience of the place on my arrival, was really mind blowing. For my food order, the waiter suggested me to choose my seafood or meat and the preparation I wanted to have it in. So I decided to have the pomfret and squid in Peri peri sauce and prawn in butter garlic. I can say only one thing about the food and i.e. It was flavourful. The service was also good but the only thing that hurt me a bit was the bill. The place is a bit expensive for sure. Even then am sure of visiting this place in the near future.

The ambience of this place beats every other place. The seating is perfect. Social distancing is practiced and everyone was wearing masks. We ordered mojitos and scallop with mashed potatoes. The drinks were strong and the food was good. You definitely need to update your menu on this site. We saw the old menu and went and were genuinely surprised. We will definitely visit this place again if we do stop by Goa. Thank you for this amazing experience.

This is one amazing place for seafood at Taj Exotica in South Goa. You get the fresh catch of the day. You need to choose the seafood and the preparation you like. The place is by the beach and has a beautiful ambience. The staff is very friendly and prompt. The only disappointment is that they don't have much to offer in chicken dishes. The cocktails were amazing too. But get ready to pay a bomb. Pretty expensive and the portions are less.

Located within the premises of Taj exotica , this is a place with quality food and hospitality. You can’t visit here if you’re not staying in Taj ,so I was lucky enough. Tried the Butter chicken which was tasty and fresh, although little overpriced (but it was expected). The best part is the music and seashore besides adds to the whole luxury experience here. Recommended only if you are staying in Taj.😬

This is a beach side shack, very aesthetic and well decorated. A great experience to sit and dine here, amidst the cool breeze and open to sky set up. We ordered lobster, and it was appealing to look at and presented very well. We personally did not like lobster, didn’t relish the taste.

Lobster village or Lobster shack is a beautiful sea facing restaurant. You can enjoy snacks and beautiful sunset here. We went there in evening for having coffee and snacks with the beautiful sunset. Cold coffee and butterscotch Shake was delicious and one the best butterscotch shakes I ever had. The only thing I didn't like is the Staff service and I don't know what kind of scam they were doing. 1st of all they gave us cold coffee instead of iced coffee that we had ordered and when we got the bill the cold coffee's price was more than they had mentioned in the menu, which I found really unprofessional. Had my wife not noticed it, I'd have paid the entire bill amount that they tried to charge us which was around INR 1500, was supposed to be INR 850. You see almost the double of what it was supposed to be. So beware before paying the bill, do check the prices and total amount. Apart from this, the Lobster Village is a nice restaurant where you can literally enjoy a very beautiful sunset alongside food.

There is nothing working for this place except the view. The staff tries to create an artificial sense of scarcity by telling nearly everyone that the restaurant is sold out for the night. When one walks by later in the night, one will see that half the tables are empty. Had a similar experience where we were told that the place is sold out so we made a reservation for the next night. Arrived at 6:30pm and occupied the table given to us. Asked the waiter to give us the food menu and told him that we knew that he would place the order only after 7pm as dinner starts after 7pm. Before 7pm the place is only open for drinks which in itself is a stupid concept and causes guests to get annoyed when they are told that the place is closed and they can clearly see people drinking and in some vases even eating fries and other such food. The waiter told us that the place is sold out for dinner and we had to empty the table by 7pm. When we told him that we had a reservation, he said that this table was for someone else. When I asked him that why did the other staff members seat us here if the table wasn't for us, he again said that he would check! Ridiculous and rude behaviour to the hilt! I finally decided to give him a taste of his medicine and started talking back rudly. That is when his manners came flooding back to him! Why must a customer have to treat staff badly to get respect??? It's that just basic courtesy? Then he went and checked with the front desk and came to say that it is okay if we are sitting here. Finally at 7pm he placed the food order which was a disaster in itself. The tandoori broccoli and mushroom was horrid. It was underseasoned and the broccoli was completely wilted. The accompanying mint chutney tasted like plain curd with green colour in it. There was no mint flavour. When we complained, the chef came out and had the audacity to tell us that the keep flavours "mild" for foreigners. Mild!! Try non existent. And hello! It has been 2 years living with covid. We don't get foreigners visitors anymore! There wasn't a single foreigner in the restaurant. Forget restaurant, we had been staying at the hotel for over a week and had seen only 2 foreigners during the entire stay! Nonetheless even if the place was full of foreigners, couldn't the chef see that we are Indian and this excuse just won't fly! Lobster village, you may get away by feeding such food to foreigners, but Indians know what it is supposed to taste like. Get your act together. The best part is that the chef was completely disinterested on what we had to say. He just wanted to say his piece and run off. The rest of the meal was a tad bit better. He even threw in a complimentary paneer tikka which fortunately was seasoned. Overall terrible experience. Would recommend everyone to avoid! I must also say that is unlike the rest of the resort. The staff at the reception, the coffee shop, the Goan restaurant and those involved in house keeping are extremely courteous and good at their job. Lobster Shack is being run as a separate Fiefdom which has nothing to do with the rest of Taj Exotica. If the Taj management is reading is, you need to do a major overhaul and change all the staff for this restaurant!

Absolutely annoyed, i wanted to visit the restaurant but i was denied entry by the person standing on the entrance from the beach- telling me that i cannot visit the restaurant if i am not staying in Taj. WhAt is your restaurant sir? The united states of America that I need a visa to enter. Would definitely ask all the people i know not to even try visiting to eat. If there was a minus rating i would have given that. Tried to visit on 14th april 2021 around 5 PM.
