Mayan Beach Club is hands down one of the worst places to visit in Goa. The place is ridiculously expensive—they charge both an entry fee and a cover charge, and on top of that, neither feels justified or worth the money. What’s worse is that these charges don’t even guarantee a decent experience. If you want good seating, be prepared to pay an absurd amount extra, which is completely unreasonable for a place like this. The ambiance is decent, but nowhere near as exceptional as the hype suggests. The music is average at best and certainly not what you’d expect from a premium beach club. The biggest disappointment, however, is the alcohol. The drinks seem heavily diluted or of questionable quality, yet they’re priced at nearly five times the MRP. The food isn’t impressive either and definitely doesn’t justify the cost. Overall, this place is a complete waste of money. If you’re in Goa, I’d strongly recommend skipping it regardless of the hype surrounding it. People seem to come here more for the social media photos and show-off factor than for any genuinely worthwhile experience.
