We had 3 meals during our 3 nights stay around South Goa. I am a goan and can proudly say one of our best eating joints. I have a 10 year old daughter who absolutely loved the Spaghetti Bolognese (We relished it as well) The Prawns Balchao, Kingfish curry, mussels rawa fry were lipsmackin. The place is run by a Goan and all the chef's are goan as well. The recipes are family rundown and delicious. They have been around for almost 3 decades. Prices are extremely reasonable and value for money. Food is delicious There is a live band playing every night. This place is a no brainer.

The food here is fabulous.😍❤️ It has been 3 days we’re here in South goa … and we’ve been having each n every meal at this place. The staff has great hospitality and they’re polite. The place has mostly foreign crowd but the vibe here is wonderful. They have live music every night. In all a great place to hangout and enjoy.

Visited south goa for the first time..and found out this amazing dine out Mike, just besides our resort Novotel. The food was 3/5 and drinks 4/5 were good ,we had seqfood sizzler, fish nd chips and bebinca dessert, mainly the ambience 5/5 and the prices5/5 are amazing, live singing escalates the vibe alot! definitely would recommend !

Below average food. The waiter served ice box without a tray holding it with fingers inside the ice bucket. Never had worse food in goa.

Not family-friendly I visited Mike's place restaurant last night with my family, including my 5-year-old child. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. My child politely asked a staff member named Naresh if we could have a candle on the table. He replied that candles are only for couples and mentioned that the child might break it. The response felt unnecessary and discourteous, especially when addressed to a child. Later, while we were placing our order, my child was holding the cutlery already kept on the table. Another staff member was called and, without any explanation, removed the plate, napkin, and cutlery directly from in front of my child. This was done abruptly and felt inappropriate. When we asked about this behaviour, and said this was not the appropriate way to speak to a child, he responded “This is what we have been told" and added that we should not speak to him in that manner. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional. There was no attempt to explain the situation politely. In fact it seemed he was doing a favor on us. Overall, the experience lacked basic courtesy and sensitivity. Based on this visit, the restaurant does not appear suitable for families with young children.

What a terribly rude and pathetic staff! Starting from being rude about seating us at the cornermost of the seating the had, which could have been fine, had the staff been polite, but seems like the entire team of staff gets some special training on in-hospitality, arrogance and rudeness. One staff was super rude to my child’s nanny, and on asking if he has a problem, he started shouting at me and then the manager jumped in to be as horribly arrongant. Very distasteful, seemed very biased towards catering to white people. Will never visit or recommend this place to anyone.
