This place is crowded, and rightly so, as the food is exceptional! I am not remotely exaggerating. We went for lunch and had to wait for some time to get seated. The menu was very inviting. We ordered for Chonok thalis, Prawns thali, modso plates, ros omlette, Banana rava fry, potato rava fry! Some soul kadhis too! Fantastic meal .. the service was very good. People are so polite. The guys running the place took time to explain about different sea food options proactively. Very good experience! Must visit place.

Mother Recipes is a simplistic authentic family run Goan eatery serving some of the best Goan thalis with mouth watering non veg starters. This is a no frills basic place which serves the purpose - authentic and delicious Goan dishes. We tried the veg in thali and King fish thali and both was sumptuous and mouth watering A must visit if you are in South Goa specially around Benaulim

The food is great!! We had crab fry, prawns rawa fry and fish thali. Quantity and flavours are on point!! Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic Goan meal/thali.

It is a budget friendly restaurant. Heaven for fish lovers. But most of the fish is generally served as rava fry which I don't like much. In general fish thali I don't like the basic sides.. What I really like is Modso rawa fry and Rased Bangda and fruit custard. Red snapper thali was good but I was bored with the same flavour of Rawa in all the items. Bombil fry was again average.

A pretty popular place for the Goan fish thali. You get freshly prepared meals because there are people waiting for their turn to take a seat and no table is ever vacant. Food is always warm and yummy. Service is prompt and the proprietor is pleasant and welcoming. A simple and homely atmosphere.

It's a very basic budget restaurant that mostly caters to locals with limited menu. They have some thalis with a variety of fishes at a very reasonable price. The outlet is located right on the main road so parking is also an issue. We ordered a special kingfish thali which was very basic with just a few items in it, I've had much better thalis in various other places in Goa. The prawns rava fry also wasn't up to the mark and was burnt. The Mackerel Recheado was ok. Crabs were very small in size with no meat inside. Even the kokum soda had very little kokum flavour. The person taking the order was also not very welcoming and in some kind of hurry. The lady at the counter was helpful though. Overall my experience is very unsatisfactory and I found the place highly overrated. The only good thing about the place is the pricing which is very reasonable.
