This has to be the best place in all of Goa to have a nice drink and watch the sunset. The location is amazing, the hospitality by the family who owns this place is so so warm and the cherry on the top are the cute doggos running around. The food was just the best ever!! 10/10 recommend !!!

We had a wonderful time at Pousada. Neville is a wonderful host and knows intuitively what his guests would like . Of course the curated views that bring together the sea views through the green gaze is a cherry on top.

Went there for a nice birthday lunch, was extremely disappointed with both the food and the service. The staff was disinterested & food was below average. The owner was rude and dismissive, and the staff took upwards of 15-20 mins to even take order

Best venue, the beach is right next to it with amazing views, lovely host who took personal care of us! The food was so good! Cocktails are a must try! Do visit if you are in North Goa!

If you are North Goa this is a place which cannot be missed. Run by a Goan family with authentic taste and the best part is the owner and his sons personally recommend and take care of you. Your stomach will be full but not your heart. It’s a wholesome experience. And icing on the cake is the view!!!! When I’m in Goa I’m a lifetime member

I placed an order for a vegetarian meal at Pousada By Beach, placing my trust in the establishment and its owners to respect my dietary preferences and religious beliefs. As a lifelong vegetarian for religious reasons, I specifically requested a meal free from any animal products. To my dismay, I was served pasta containing prawns. Being unfamiliar with the taste, I only realized this after taking a bite. Upon inquiring about the ingredients, the staff confirmed that the dish contained prawns. Rather than addressing the issue with the seriousness and professionalism it warranted, the staff offered a cursory apology and proceeded to laugh about the mistake. This dismissive and unprofessional conduct was profoundly disappointing and showed a lack of respect for both my dietary restrictions and religious convictions. I had expected that the restaurant would honor the trust placed in it and handle such matters with sensitivity and accountability. The negligence and disregard displayed have not only caused me distress but have also undermined my confidence in the establishment.

Went to the place with family after the reviews, though the place was empty still we were bluntly asked for the cover charges Despite requesting to waive for the child no consideration done Also the place was hot in the afternoon so we took off the place May be the bill could be more than the cover charges but making it mandatory wasn’t right and that too on weekday non peak hours and for a family

I visited this place on my first day in Goa and it was so refreshingly different from other places It had Neville’s personal touch and warmth The location was very good and the ambience was so rustic and right on the sand It definitely left a mark on my mind and I would be back on my next trip for sure

We had a marvellous meal and dip in the sea in a group of 15 including 3 kids and 1 infant in Dec’24. We connected with Neville over the number listed and pre-booked a table by paying half the cover in advance (highly recommended). The cover will easily be used up not because of the prices being high (they are but the food is that good and the portion size is good). Not only was the food and ambience spectacular, the direct view of the sun dipping into the sea was amazing. The beach that is 50 m away is in the quiet side of calangute (I am surprised as well). Friends loved the Goan beef chilly, the fish wrapped in leaves in a green Goan curry and the gin cocktails. The veg Goan curry and mushroom xacuti plus the Kokum drink was fantastic too. The kitchen also made a dry version of a dish on our request and the host family is super involved and made our kids feel really welcome by giving them gifts. The legendary dogs chai and biscuit pairing in sadly broken and biscuit jr is now there with chai. The kids paid homage to biscuit whose memorial sits quietly on the property. Highly recommended this and cannot wait to visit the property a third time!
