the food was great and ambience were good, however when the bill arrived and we paid via Zomato, the server came to us saying payment is not reflecting, then after I showed him the transaction the owner walked up and said when we paying via zomato please let the server know so that they can give the alcohol bill separately as due to the discounts they get into losses, kind of weird coz whenever we pay at other places we just get one bill via zomato and the restaurant person doesn't say anything, so I didn't feel that conversation was even needed

if you are staying at Novotel / hyatt/ hilton candolim and craving for authentic goan food / sea food thali this is the place you absolutely must visit. we stayed for over 10 days in this area and craved for authentic goan spices/ food. was so,so lucky we landed at the Shamaai's. Jokim is a lovely person and will serve you with such warmth that the entire place feels like home.

We walked in here after disappointing service at Coastal Crave. This place turned out exactly opposite as team served us really quickly - We tried Prawns and Chonaak fry, Crab Butter Garlic , chicken skewers marinated local sauce and ended with prawns curry with Poi. Absolutely fill

Great experience overall. Goan authentic food, great service led by Keith (who gave us so much warmth with his hospitality) and Sanjeev (who served us so well). Can’t wait to come here again! Candolim’s new gem! 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️

a must visit place to enjoy food and ambience. Goa is filled with dhaba n veg restaurants and this stands out of you want to try Goan veg food.

The place looks good, even the food is great but the quantity can be improved. The service too needs improvement as there was only 1 to 2 persons for service.
