We went there during Ramadan, and the food was scrumptious. The Chicken Haleem, the Mutton Bone Broth, the Mexican Chicken Rice, the Pulled Pork Burger, the Chicken Liver Pâté, & the dessert were all made to make your taste buds dance. Absolutely wonderful...Kudos to the entire team, especially to the chef and all the F&B staff for the prompt and diligent service.

23.7.24 Lovely little place inside Aguada Jail complex in Goa. The location is super, can’t be missed Food is tasty Ordered a mushroom dish and a burger- both were top-notch and the portion was just right for one person. They were playing some lovely French? music. A must visit for ambience and food PS: there is an entry ticket to enter the Aguada jail complex where the bistro is situated but it’s advisable to inform the guards about visiting the bistro so that the entry ticket is waived off

Since I was solo, I ordered mains and dessert only. Mains - Pork Ribs Ghee Roast The pork was so well cooked that it melted in my mouth, the pilaf served was delicious, but the ghee roast masala was very very disappointing. The flavors weren't like ghee roast at all, and was not very tasty. Dessert - Basque Cheesecake This is perhaps the best cheesecake I have had. Too good. Must buy. I can't say enough to praise this one. Ambience - 4.5/5 Food - 4/5 Price - 2.5/5

Pretty place with a good staff. The food is also flavourful. We had rice bowls and both were quite good. The quantity is good enough to be shared by two. Good place for a quite dinner with the sound of the sea.

Expectations rest on comparisons. When I compare my first visit to the original Black Sheep Bistro of a few years ago, yesterday’s meal was a sore disappointment. The two starters, chicken and lotus stems, looked and tasted exactly the same. They had identical sauce and were dressed with mayonnaise which looked like it had come out of a squeeze bottle bought off a shelf. The stir-fried vegetables were no better than what I rustle up at home and the cappuccino was likely dispensed from an indifferent machine. Only the garlic bread was of some merit. The hostess and server were warm and prompt but that is not enough to justify the price and promise.

We were here last night for dinner. Enthusiastic server Rana said he recognized us. On a previous visit, my husband had ordered the Osso Bucco and was distressed to find the lamb to be stale and rotten. Rana assured us that the dish had been taken off the menu and suggested we try the Lamb Roulade. Unfortunately, the Roulade was very dry and lacked flavour. I ordered the Chicken Stroganoff and was disappointed to find the dish to be very dry and not seasoned with salt. Highly recommend that the chefs who made the dishes be sent for training. Hope things get better in the future

We went with past memories from Black Sheep Bistro, but we were disappointed...we ordered Vellyo ( small fish fry )..fish was not fresh, especially when in Goa ! Also was made too oily, maybe be conceal freshness ? Khousuey was next option we tried, not at all close to what we would have expected for a price...too heavy on the tummy, we left almost half the plate... Most Important don't open the bottle of water placed on your table, unless you want to be charged 200 Rs for Artesian Water !!! Blue Pine is the brand .Be extremely careful!!!!
