The Southern Deck is a modern refined take on the traditional cuisine! Every dish is an admixture of age-old favourite flavours with fine-dining finesse. Some of our table favourites were the stuffed crab, the beef tongue and the red snapper steak but honestly every dish served was a winner! The staff were courteous, helpful and had great recommendations and the beachside ambience was incomparable! The Southern Deck is simply a must visit for your next Goa trip!

Amazing place and superb live singing. They even had a fireshow whilst there was a break in singing. Good place to dance as well. Go by 7pm to get a good place to sit, afterwards you'll have waiting. The food is really good, signature cocktails are really good as well. Service is remarkably quick. If you eat, the pork and beef items are worth trying.

Amazing Musical Vibes in the evening!!! Family place too...the Butter Chicken here was mouth melting and my 6 year old son loves it and wants to go back again! thank you for the Yummiest experience of Benaulim!

Location: ★★★☆☆ The Southern Deck is in a remote part of Benaulim, so arrange your own transport before visiting. The receptionist kindly helped us find a cab at 11 p.m. when none were available, though it was pricey. Atmosphere: ★★★★★ The restaurant was lively and packed, with live music and seating both outside by the beach and inside. Food: ★★★★☆ The food was surprisingly good. We ordered Cream Cheese Garlic Bread and Wild Mushroom, Cheese and Truffle Oil Dumplings, along with tap beer. Everything tasted great. Service: ★★★★★ The service was fast, and the servers were courteous, helpful, and attentive—even though the restaurant was busy. We felt well looked after. Value: ★★★★☆ It didn’t feel like the most budget-friendly option, but the food, service, and atmosphere made paying a premium feel worthwhile. Wait time: ★★★★★ There was no wait for a table, even though the restaurant was packed. Overall, we had a great evening at The Southern Deck.

Absolutely Terrible Hospitality and Disappointing Management One of the worst hospitality experiences we’ve had in South Goa. We were made to wait for 30 minutes, only to be denied a table in the end. The manager’s attitude and handling of the situation were extremely disappointing. There was no proper hospitality, no satisfactory explanation, and absolutely no sense of how to treat customers who have taken the time to visit the restaurant. What made the experience worse was the manager’s complete failure to handle the situation professionally. Making customers wait for half an hour without ensuring they can be accommodated is simply unacceptable. My advice: Save your time and look elsewhere. South Goa has plenty of places that understand the basics of customer service and respect their guests’ time. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. A restaurant can have a beautiful location, but without basic hospitality and competent management, it’s simply not worth visiting. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Avoid this place if you don’t have a prior booking, especially if you can’t get a beach-facing seat. The indoor seating is suffocating, the service is pathetic, and we were sweating while waiting for our order. The order took forever to arrive, and to make matters worse, they brought the wrong item! Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Definitely not worth the hassle!

we were given a table right beside a big commercial air cooler. we were told that they do not serve RO water and that we have to buy bottled water, this is against the law. the drinks that were served were 20% less in volume as compared to the volume they sell at. Rude and unprofessional behaviour
