The server’s mocktail recommendation was refreshing, and their detailed explanation of the different curries paired with vegetarian and non‑vegetarian dishes added a thoughtful touch. We ordered pepper chicken Chhedinar style and mutton stew in coconut curry, served with appam and idiappam — an absolutely delightful choice 😍. 🌿 Truly the best place to savor authentic Kerala cuisine!

Service : 10/10 Food you need to know what you like and what you will not. The server will explain in detail the dishes which makes it easier to order as per your palate. Tanjore tiffin room is must visit place. we had korma with idiyappam and egg appam. lemon rice and rassam. Everything was delicious and comforting,light for stomach. service is very good. They gave us gravy samples for taste and that was a very unique experience.

Every time we dine in here, is a delight. Though we live in Southern India, this place, the flavour profile is unparalleled. Loved every bite of it. Mutton pepper fry is our fav. Definitely recommend it to everyone. P.S. Service and Vibe is cherry on the top.

Needed a little break from the usual Goan seafood and found this absolute gem! Finding good South Indian non-veg can be rare, but The Tanjore Tiffin Room completely delivered. The experience started on a high note with a warm, complimentary Rasam shot—such a flavorful welcome drink, and honestly, who doesn't love a great complimentary treat? 🌶️ Here is what we ordered: 🦐 Karaikudi Prawns (₹720): Absolute perfection! The prawns were unbelievably fresh with zero fishy smell. Easily one of the best starters I’ve had. A definite must-try! 🍗 Madras Chicken Curry (₹590) & Malabar Parotta (₹100/each): I loved that they offered a curry-tasting experience before we ordered! We went with the Madras Curry, and it was outstanding. The chicken was melt-in-the-mouth soft, deeply flavorful, and paired beautifully with the hot, flaky parottas. 🍹 Panakam Drink (₹330): This has a very traditional, earthy flavor. I personally found it just okay, but if you are someone who appreciates authentic, classic South Indian coolers, you will likely really enjoy it! 🍮 Ada Pradhaman (₹300): We got this for dessert. It was decent, but the savory dishes were definitely the stars of the show! Vibe & Service: The ambience is fantastic, offering both a breezy outdoor section and a comfortable AC seating area depending on your mood. Top that off with incredibly polite and attentive staff, and you have a perfect dining experience. Pro-Tip on the Bill: Our total bill came to ₹2247, and we got a sweet 10% discount just by paying our bill through Swiggy! Definitely check for that offer when you are ready to pay. Highly recommend visiting if you want fresh, flavorful, and authentic South Indian food with a great atmosphere!

The food was good but the service could’ve been better. They were very slow in brining the samplers which further allows one to order (that’s their template). Their kitchen closes at 11:30 pm.

If I were rating this place purely on food, I wouldn’t give it even a single star. Every dish we ordered was disappointing. The chicken ghee roast tasted nothing like it should—it felt more like a generic tomato-heavy gravy you’d expect at a cheap roadside dhaba. For a restaurant with such a reputation, getting a classic dish so wrong is surprising. The stuffed grilled calamari was the worst of the lot—completely burnt, almost like eating charcoal. The Malabar parotta lacked the essential crispiness and flakiness, and even something as simple as idiappam felt undercooked and poorly executed. Having previously enjoyed meals at their Mumbai outlet, this experience in Anjuna was a huge letdown. The quality of food simply doesn’t justify the pricing. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.
