This is a fantastic place to grab some great fish thali and other fish items as well. The rachad masala chonak is mouth watering and one cannot get enough. The surmai fish thali and even the prawn curry rice is a definite order when you visit them .. A couple of this to take note of is while the place is big the waiting is endless and they don't take reservations so plan accordingly though I must say the wait is going to be worth it. Try and get there by 12.00-12.30 pm so it just maybe easier to be seated. Parking is not available right out of the restaurant however it's available on an open ground 2 mins away from the place. The staff is friendly and they do suggest good stuff to eat however the service can be slow and delayed due to the crowd and constant orders flowing in. When in Goa make time to visit this place.

Best restaurant in Goa .. can’t get better than this .. mostly restaurants in Goa are charging sky high and still can’t give basic things . Vinayak is by far the best in terms of quality of food , quick service and staff. Commendable

Amazing sea food and Goan food. A must try for people travelling to goa who love sea food. We ordered for a king fish and prawns thali. Delicious food. Prices also reasonable. Would highly recommend to visit this place.

Vinayak Restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise and a must visit for us during our trips to Goa! On our recent trip we ordered their kingfish thali and prawns rava fry, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were fresh and authentic, and the quality of the seafood was top-notch. The fish thali offered a delightful variety of dishes like clams sukhe, crab curry and kismoore and the prawns rava fry was crispy and perfectly cooked. If you're craving delicious Goan seafood in north Goa, Vinayak is a must!

it's not a complaint but a suggestion to the restaurant management and owner that, basic fish thali or any spl fish thali the main part is the fish curry and fried fish rest all things to complete the meal. But if the Fish curry and fried fish failed to taste as it supposed to be then the overall thali is a waste of money. I visit twice or thrice in a year and it's been almost 4-5 years I am visiting this place but the taste of the fish curry and food quality is going continuously down. that may be the reason place is going crowdless as compared to earlier. I visited today and curry was tasteless. 3 months back was also the curry was tasteless but this time it was even worst. please do not take as a complaint but take it as a suggestion to improve the quality of the food and mainly the fish curry for which people are dieing to eat and try goan food. I'm hoping to visit again.

I wish to give this place 1.5/5. I wonder why it’s so overrated. Like who promoted this ugly little restaurant? Why was this place so popular when even on a busy afternoon on a Saturday, I was served cold fish thali? The staff was so reluctant to take orders, and when we called them for the 3rd time, they asked us to give them all the orders at once. The ladies who manage the place are extremely respectful and eager to bring in customers, but the serving staff needs to be trained and the food is way below average. We were even served burnt mackerel.

Here’s a harsh review based on your description: “The food was passable—nothing memorable, just okay. But the prices? Absolutely outrageous. It felt like they were charging as if they imported the ingredients from another galaxy. You expect something extraordinary for such a cost, but this was the most overpriced, underwhelming experience I’ve ever had. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.”

Grossly, grossly, grossly overrated place. Not sure how this place got so popular.. Reels i guess. The food as well as service is below par. Prices are exorbitant. I would strongly recommend Anand Bar And Restaurant over this place. Their food is good, service is quick. Above all, their prices are half than this pathetic place.
