If you're looking for an authentic Goan culinary experience, this hidden gem in Fontainhas is an absolute delight! The food here is nothing short of spectacular, with every dish bursting with traditional flavors that make any dish you order so special, each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and passion. What truly elevated our experience was the impeccable service. A big thank you to Mario, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His recommendations were spot-on and made our visit all the more memorable. This place is a must-visit for anyone wanting to savor authentic Goan dishes in a casual and comfortable setting. Highly recommended!

Viva Panjim a Goan-Portuguese dining experience wrapped in history if you are a seafood lover than you must try that seafood platter Goan sausage pulao was stunning and the Prawns Caldine was soul food very comforting. Loved their sera dura and caramel custard as well and not to forget their amazing hospitality.

Food was good.. but we came along with a small pet, a shitzhu for which we were not allowed indoor seating that too on a hot afternoon. We had to sit outside and have our meal. Could have offered us an exception.

Absolute gem of a place in fontainhas. The food is amazing. The dragon chicken and chicken carafel was absolutely top notch. Would also recommend their desserts. One of the best places for authentic Goan food!

Quaint little place for goan food. We had sopa grassa, prawns caldinha, chicken xacuti with steamed rice and serradurra for dessert. The caldinha was the best of the lot.

After reading about it, as an iconic place, we went there for lunch. The staff was very polite and the place is sent within the pretty Fountainhas area. However, the dining rooms are tiny, with closed windows, I certainly did not get the heritage home charm nor the vibe inside. The food was passable. A lot of places offer goan cuisine, but lack the flavours and the quality. Viva Panjim too was a dampener, when it came to flavours and the quality of the prawns/sausage/chicken.

Visited Viva Panjim after a gap of a few years that ended up being a mistake. We were served stale food and regret not complaining then and there. Today 2 of the 5 members that had had the same fish lollipops have been awake all night throwing up with an upset stomach. Quality of food in general has truly gone down at this place.

“The food was okay overall, but nothing really stood out & didn’t live up to expectations . Most dishes were overly salty, which affected the experience.” Would not recommend . “
