Solo trip to Goa and I decided to treat myself properly one evening. Yazu was a recommendation from my hotel and I'm so grateful for it. I sat at the bar area which had a great view and was very comfortable for someone dining alone. The staff were very friendly and checked in on me regularly without being over the top about it. A brilliant solo dinner.

I ordered Chicken Classic Tom Yum Soup to start which was deeply fragrant with all the Thai herbs and had a proper heat level that warmed me up nicely. Then I went with Prawn and Egg Burnt Garlic Fried Rice which the menu says is a classic family favourite and it absolutely lived up to that, the burnt garlic added such a beautiful smoky depth.

We went all in on the sushi section starting with the Prawns Tempura with Creamy Salmon Uramaki which the menu marks as a chef's recommendation and now I understand why completely. The avocado and cucumber inside topped with salmon tartare and togarashi sauce was so well balanced and fresh. Amazing place to try sushi.

I came here with my husband, he had the Chicken Thai Green Curry with Jasmine Rice and kept saying it reminded him of the best curry he'd had in Bangkok. The Imploding Chocolate Bomb dessert was genuinely theatrical, the hot chocolate ganache poured over the gold-dusted chocolate ball is such a wow moment.

Came for family dinner. We had big basket of Dimsums, the Veg Yazu Experience Dimsum Basket and the Non-Veg one and both were gorgeous. Chicken Shumai was the kids' favourite, open face dumplings with chicken and mushrooms that were delicate and delicious. The serving sizes were very generous throughout.

My family of 5 visited Yazu for lunch on a Sunday and the restaurant managed us very comfortably. The outdoor seating area facing the beach is perfect for a family gathering and the kids were completely mesmerized by the view. A wonderful family lunch on the Goa beach.

Visited Yazu on a quiet night and truly enjoyed the calm. The soft lighting and ocean sounds stood out. Food felt comforting. Service was smooth. Would happily return.
