Probably the most oldest place in guwahati... Even though its a vegetarian restaurant I'm a huge fan of this place be it the food or the ambience...recommended if one ever visits this place the paneer items namely the butter masala n the black dal and also the mixed vegetables... Perfect place for having get together with your friends and family...!!

Being an avid non-vegetarian foodie, we naturally miss out the vegetarian eateries/restaurants around the city. Hotel Rajmahal came to me as a surprise. Visited this place to taste food for an upcoming competition in Guwahati. This place indeed took me by surprise.  the restaurant  offers multi crusine veg options and has a pretty exhaustive menu. There are over 40 varieties of curries to choose from. the restaurant opens at 7.30 am in the morning giving Guwahatians a great breakfast option. the 24 hour coffee shop also caters to people who wants to grab a mid night snack and coffee with friends and family. Great place to be and enjoy Vegetarian Food if you are here in Guwahati THUMBS UP :)

The Tamarind Marinated Tandoori Aloo is so delicious here! OMG! Ask for extra Chaat Masala to enhance the taste better. I love Rajmahal for the amazing North Indian food as well as the mouth watering tandoori starters! You can work on your interiors a little bit because the hotel is otherwise made of a great ambience. However, its always a lovely time visiting and dining in Rajmahal. Keep it up guys :)

The staffs of this so called star hotel in Guwahati needs to go back to BHM courses to understand basics of hospitality. Uneducated waiters and chefs don’t know how to behave with their guest and take feedback, instead they will tell you if you don’t like the service you can go somewhere else.

Compared to the price the food quality is very pathetic, the steward doesn't know what to serve before or after the ordered meal. Have to wait nearly 45-50 mins to get the ordered food on the table. Service is very very pathetic.
