CHENNAI KITCHEN SOUTH INDIAN PLATTER ( THALI ) Pun/papad/Achar/Raita/Thoran(poriyal)/Avid/(Coc onut curry)/Rasam/Malaber Curry/Dal/Sweets This place@chennaikitchen was surprisingly awesome.. even more than a lot of places in south india.. I'm glad to have discovered this place... I'd definitely be here again on my way back to #guwahati the ambience can be a bit better but its okay... The great food is just what we were there for... The service was prompt and the staff were friendly, overall it was a great experience. Would love to visit here again and again. FOOOD 8/10 SERVICE 9/10 QUALITY 8/10 QUANTITY 7/10 OVERALL EXPERIENCE 8/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Hands down the best South Indian restaurant in Guwahati, by a mile. Having been staying in Bengaluru for last 9 years and now in Guwahati for last 7 months owing to wfh I was missing the authentic dosais and idlis. This restaurant came as a respite; the dosais, the idlis, and the kaapis are absolutely smashing with liberal qty of accompanying sambhar and chutneys. I’ve already been here thrice in a month, and don’t intend to stop anytime soon 😬

The place is decorated in a typical Chennai style with waiters dressed in the traditional dress. You will never be disappointed with the food if you know what you really love. You must ask the waiter first if you are ordering a dish for the first time. I usually order masala onion dosa and that serves me the best, the three chutneys are amazing!! You also get panipuri in different versions and many other dishes. The price is a bit on the higher side but still affordable.

Not up to that mark,the taste was poor no like real south indian.. Ordered dosa one was cheese dosa and one was plain. Balancing taste was not missing

They gave us red chutney which was having rotten smell... don't know how many days old it was... when asked this is rotten they didn't even accept it was rotten and after telling 2 times gave one extra sambhar.. There's literally no difference between ghee masala dosa and masala dosa.. making a huge menu of dosa but offering very little change of delicacy.. Hand wash area is so bad.. it stinks of smell of toilet.. very dirty..

Poorest service and responsibilities by the staff and management.we have ordered one masala dosa and one Mysore masala dosa...after 20 masala we saw that they are not serving our order but they are serving others orders to whom even after they came after us and ordered food after us...when we asked ..the staff said ...will be serving the order shortly...again we waited for 10 mts .....again we noticed they are serving masala dosa for others but not for us...we asked management regarding this...then they replied the potato is finished..very funny reply..then we asked ..if potato is finished..how they are serving masala dosa to others...also why they didn't inform us while we ordered the things.... they didn't have reply for that....

I went to the restaurant after 1.5years, it used to be a go to dosa place with my family. Had the worst experience with food. Ordered plain dosa for myself and they made it so crispy that it seemed like paper plain dosa some parts were so overcooked that it started to taste bitter. Then came coffee, first of all 100rs for filter coffee is just too much and it wasn’t even good it seemed that they made it with regular instant coffee powder rather than filter coffee powder and it wasn’t even strong (i asked them for strong coffee) it seemed like the quarter of water was more than milk, the coffee to water ratio was off. Really disappointed.

One of the Worst in Guwahati! Seriously don't know how people are giving 4-5 star to this! Nothing was good ...taste was very bad. Poor preparation. Had to eat coz was hungry and had to shell out 493 for these craps! Dnt waste ur money, time and afterall the taste!
