Visited this place during peak lunch service hours. Every single thing was served cold. From the dal and rice to the mutton curry, nothing was even lukewarm. No effort to even heat it up before serving to a customer. Secondly, service here is poor. Took them 20 mins to give us water and a menu. Third, the ambience is very dim and gloomy. For a restaurant owned by a popular chef representing Assam everywhere, not up to standard. The only reason the place gets 3 stars is because the mutton curry was good. Everything else was below average.

This place is not consistent. I visited the place with my parents and some guests so that we could have some good authentic Assamese food.. everything was served cold. It wasn't even lukewarm. Nothing was delicious. Their food and services are not at all standardized.. Had Gordon Ramsay visited today, we would have definitely witnessed a spicy Hell's kitchen episode ..

starting with cleanliness there is cobweb everywhere, grim and dull ambience as if sitting in bar and not family restaurant, dont know when was the last time the owner bothered to clean. Comming to food..the restaurant served everything cold starting from rice to every item that is there is veg thali. In extras ordered chicken with bambooshoot, it was terrible with peculiar smell of rooten ingredients. So ordered chicken dry fry as substitute..that was the worst item one can ever eat here..it was simply chicken fried with onion, tats all...no spice no taste...all we cud smell is raw turmeric which was the only spice added it seems...over all pathetic experience in name of ethnic food. The owner Mr. Atul Lahkar should really consider shutting down the place and start some other business instead of fooling people with pricy menu and substandard rotten food in dining. Pathetic experience...My suggestion, stay away from here if u r looking for experience of ethnic food.

*1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience* I visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. I ordered the veg Thali, but to my surprise, many of the items that were supposed to come with it were finished. The waiter should have informed me about the unavailability of items instead of taking the order. But what was even more appalling was the way the waiter served when I asked for some thali food items. He literally smacked the bowl containing my meal onto the table, which was not only rude but also a disrespect to the food itself. The restaurant's service and attention to detail were severely lacking. If they can't manage their inventory and train their staff to provide basic courtesy, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Will not be returning.

I am writing this review . As I have been there for 2/3 times . First of all about the environment it looks like a Bar . No proper lighting . Recently I went to have dinner with friends. Staff behaviour is rude and poor food quality . They serve cold foods except Rice .after having food there my friend and me both felt vomiting and stomach upset . From this platform I want to request Heritage khorika owner Mr Atul Lahkar , kindly maintain hygine and ask your service boy to be nice to your customer . If there is anything left don’t serve on next day it may be harmful . Lights to be fitted is Tube light .

Had veg thali along with fish pitika, gahori khorika and fish khorika. All items in the thali were bland in taste, rice quantity was very less. Rice was not offered the second time until it was asked for. The kheer served was not freshly made. Even the saunf (mouth freshner) served after food was old and damp. One of the worst restaurant for Assamese food. Do not recommend at all

Ordered chicken thali and they sent me pork and chicken mixed curry thali . Totally unprofessional . They have to maintain the order suggestions.
