We recently visited one of the most popular place of guwahati "Momo Ghar" . Rumours say its the oldest momo joint in the city.. nothing much to say because guwahatians are pretty familiar with the place.. momos here are the best. We had the pork momo which came at the pretty cheap rate and its a definite steal.

Earlier momo ghar used to be the best in town .Now they have very little stuffing inside the momos, also average taste with extra spicy chutney. Otherwise price and size is good. They can do better to keep up the name.

Love the chicken momos from this place. Order quite frequently as they taste really good. Packaging should be improved. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Small spot , Big name and lot of memories since childhood. The first Momo I ever had was from here. One of the bestest Momo till now in town. Chicken Momo's and Pork Momo's both are amazing. I just love it.. But only downside they really are raising up their prices in a very fast pace. Like its RS 70 now. Kinda hurts my pocket as I had it for the half price few years back.

I ordered pork momo and chow, i failed to understand what happened to this restro, since my childhood, the food quality kept on deteriorating. The momo skin is too thick, like boiled atta, pricing is like a five star restaurant, quality is thrown out of the window, momo came with most of the momo's broken and filling coming out, they even don't know how to make the momo closing part less thick. It'slike some 2 year old is wrapping the momo, no shape, just stuffed and filled with filling, red chutney is like laal mirchi with water, innovate korok olop, nohru, ada, fresh heujia jolokia use korok. Taste ke sath sath quality bhi maintain karo, chowmein to was 3rd clas. Road side chowmein has better taste and quality. Pork pieces were like shapeless in the chowmein, pork the size of a laddu were there, matlab jeneke parise katise pork aru mix korise with chowmein. I sometimes feel etu restaurant or manuh buror kaam koribo mon nai, poisa lage jiyaboloi so kori ase, restro business ot tahator ekdum mon nai service dibo. Poisa main tahator karne, both branches are same. Soup to bhai ki kom aru. Mane momo tu e olop khabo pari in this restro. Rest everything is for namesake. This is 2021 not 1990, improve your quality, taste and pricing, or loose out to competitions. Ghatiya khana in short.

I have been a regular customer of this place. So regular that I eat pork momos from here sometimes at least twice a week. The price of pork momos when you dine in or get take out is ₹70. The price for delivery was ₹80 before. Now they have suddenly raised it to ₹100. That's completely unfair to customers. I have stopped ordering in because it has gone out of budget for me.

COCKROACH FOUND INSIDE ROLL . All that glitters is not gold . Us three friends had to face an unfortunate incident when we found a cockroach inside a Roll in Momo Ghar Dining, Ambari on the evening of 20th March 2024. We have been eating out in Momo Ghar , Ambari since two long decades , and now we have been robbed off our loyalty to Momo Ghar Dining, Ambari & Momo Ghar , Ambari . The kitchen lack basic hygiene , poor inventory & stock control , and poor customer grievance handling . Both Government & Private agencies including food reviewers should be determined to focus on the review of hygiene of restaurants and eateries. FOOD SAFETY DEPARTMENT MUST SERVE NOTICE TO THIS RESTAURANT AT THE EARLIEST.

The quality of momos is going low day by day. The stuffing is so less. One day i found a big piece of Ginger inside my momo and that day i decided not to have momos there. The staff has also become so rude, they don't respond with one call. The size of pork inside the momo is also becoming small with passing days while the price is hiking. The restaurant is running only through its name and there's no taste left anymore. Please try to bring the earlier taste back if possible.

Unhygienic place...talking about momos...I have been suggested by many people about this place ...and it was the worst momo I have ever had...no taste no hygiene....I felt like I was eating thick steamed flour and that's it...

Just avoid this crappy place . The food is horrible and their service has gone down the drain!
