Wanted to try some authentic Naga food while at Guwahati. Thankfully Naga Kitchen was about half a kilometer from the hotel I stayed. the ambiance was nice. pleasant interiors with Naga arts, artifacts and weapons displayed on the walls.I ordered for Smoked pork dry with dry bamboo shoots, Naga pork curry and rice. The smoked pork dry with dry bamboo shoots is the best I have ever had. This was in fact so good that I forgot to eat the curry for the while. The curry was good, but probably as good as the ones I have had in the Naga restaurants at Bangalore . I asked them to give me a couple of servings as a takeaway. my folks at Bangalore loved the dish.Service is very good. In fact Sunita who served me was polite, courteous and helpful. Probably sensing the only South Indian in a crowded Naga restaurant, she checked if all was well once a while! In fact she ensured I had less fat in the dishes served. Prices are pretty reasonable. I understand the difficulty to get the Smoked pork dry with dry bamboo shoots right so 320 bucks per dish is reasonable.

This is one of my favourite place to have a good soulful Naga meal. It is also Guwahati's one of the oldest places to serve Naga Cuisine. I always order their smoked pork chilli (must try). Tiny pieces of pork fried with tomatoes and onions is to die for. I love their chutneys too. I recently ordered smoked pork with celery which was very good, non spicy and the flavour and taste of fresh celery was there. A very light stew with smoked pork chunks and fresh celery which I had with rice and chilli. Amazing and Satisfying! Keep it up guys

It's a great place for ethnic Naga cuisine, loved the food and the ambience of the place. The traditional chutney they provide is one of the best!

One of the heritage and finest Naga eateries in town. Ordered a Smoked Pork Thali. Food was good.

This is the place where I wanted to take myself to try what the Naga cuisine is like. So as to begin with a new cuisine altogether, I decided to stick to basics and ordered steamed pork dumplings for starters and bamboo shoots chicken gravy along with white rice for main course. The dumplings surprisingly had a green chutney which is not what I expected and yet tasted amazing. The main course gave me a good feeling about Bamboo Shoots of which I was quite skeptical about. The people here are generous and would make sure you have a great time. The smell of the place is vaguely different from any other restaurant and if you ho with an open mind to try a different genre of Indian cuisine altogether, I’m sure you’ll like it as much as I did.

Went to hog smoked pork with axone. No words, truly spectacular! esp with the complimentary chutney they provided. It all reminded me of my homeplace ✨ but one thing which really annoyed me is that, they gave less amount of steamed rice for an overpriced charge. Either they should increase their quantity and keep the same charge or they should charge the price lesser for the amount which they're currently giving. • Fast service • Good food • Good environment • Friendly Overall experience was nice 👍

Visited this restaurant recently on a weekday afternoon and it was sparsely occupied. We ordered chicken thali and fresh lime sodas. The waitress had little knowledge of the menu and the service can be improved. The food was nothing to write home about

Food was really bad. Price seems on the upper side considering the quantity and quailty. We ordered chili chicken which was so chewy felt like some 10-15days old chicken that too the pieces were small pieces like we expect in friedrice and to increase the portion they put excessive amount of onions and hardly a few small pieces of meat. Same with pork ...it was very average taste and hardly small pieces of few pork pieces and only onions. Only good thing is the service..the lady who served us was quite helpful...Sadly not recomended, I had way better naga foods in other restaurants.

Had to leave the whole food, worst food and worst service ever. The dal ordered tasted as if it was a week old, extreme sour flavour. Wrong item given. Communication gap between customer and waiter, the waiter did not understand a single word. Overall a disastrous experience.
