We tried chicken tikka, chicken tenders, murg tikka, bullet fries, bhut jolokia pork dry fry, and American corn, along with plenty of Kingfisher Ultra pints stretched over 5 hours. The food was delicious, the drinks kept flowing, and the company made it even better. Overall, a great experience with good food and good vibes.

Inamul hoque was an amazing host . this is the second time he curated our experience... I can solo the first time .. he was so good at his craft that I made my family try the root barrel only for their hospitality

we had the root beer. that's real good. but the food was not upto the mark. we had the chicken tenders, not so tender. in fact, it was mostly frozen. it was hard and not tasty. it was very okayish. then the butter garlic prawns, which was neither butery nor garlic infused. it just smelled too fishy and the praws were very bland. I'd say, go for the beer, not for the food.

We went on a Friday night to celebrate our day back from Bglr.. SCAM ALERT !! Firstly they charged us for 8 beer glasses but we had only 6 and when we asked about it, the staffs told us its printing mistake. 2ndly on the same day, my friend used their male washroom. It was an accident and the snitary bin was broken. My friend fell off and instead of asking if he was alright, they were charging 5000 for it. When we opposed that how can they blame without seeing the condition of the toilet, one of the staff started humiliating us infront of other guests. I will also attach the sanitary bin photo here which shows the condition of the toilet. The manager and the cashier was really good. They apologised for the staffs behaviour but this is really humiliating.

I came to Root Barrel 2 years ago and had a good experience. Visited today again and will never be visiting again. The chicken starter we ordered was so spicy that we wasted it (we have a good spice tolerance). Tordered a cocktail called Sweater Weater I don’t know which alcohol they used but it was literally undrinkable that no one could even take a 2nd sip. Hookah was also so bad that it was a complete waste. Ultimately the only item that was eatable or drinkable was Coca Cola. Even the music was horrible

one of the female waiter tried to mislead us into paying the service charges @10% and she even told us that since we asked her to serve the noodles hence I have to "compulsorily" pay 10% service charges. it's sad that such a big restaurant has such sub standard food with such high prices and over and above they tried to mislead the customer. later on they did change the bill however the attitude stays on.
