Absolutely the best concept with best ethnic Assamese food. Be it the different chutneys to curries, all tastes like home food. Guys you can have a pretty good time with your family and friends in this restaurant. And I really want to point out about the owner(including his family members) who is so down to earth and took really good care of us. Also shout out to all the ladies who served us. Their outfits, attitude everything was so nice. P.S: They only provide buffet system and no À la carte and it's pretty good. Buffet price : 490(including tax) Also the main attraction is obviously "PALKI" the human robot who will serve you the welcome drinks!

Hospitality was next level. The whole family was involved in engaging with customers. And brought a touch of genuineness that is rare in concept restaurants. Don’t miss out on the robot experience as well. Yes! You read that right. A robot! A must visit if you are from Guwahati. An absolute best destination if you are coming from outside the state and want to experience Assamese cuisine. Btw they click a complementary picture of you as well . Wahh!

Uruka- as the name suggests a night of feasts, this family restaurant is definitely a treat for the food lovers. As tourists we visited this place with great enthusiasm, the lovely food, the great atmosphere and the warm hospitality by Ms. Karishma made our visit to the restaurant a memorable one. The starters, the main course were tasty and different. The Suji Halwa was the star dish for sure! Kudos to the entire team for the great work.

Awesome Place to try the Authentic Assamese Cuisine with different dishes of vegetables, paneer, chicken, prawns, fish etc, everything is very well prepared and taste is very good. Highly recommend all the tourists to visit this place to try out the authentic Assamese cuisine. The owner personally takes care of the customers. Must Visit 😀

I'm from South India. Assamese cuisine was something very new to me. Thanks to this place I got to try a lot of different dishes. The staff was very friendly. Answered all questions we had like what a particular dish was made of. Overall I loved the experience :) made my Guwahati stay more memorable

Location:(5/5) Situated in the heart of Guwahati city, Uruka is easily located as it is in right beside the main road of Silpukhuri. There is place for car parking. Ambience:(5/5) Beautiful and spacious interiors with large accomodating capacity inspired by Assamese culture and traditions. Food:(3/5) This place served buffet of Assamese food. The welcome drink is Thekera Tenga sherbet which I loved. In starters there are food items like local fish fry, chicken pakora, paneer pakora (loved this), prawn pakora, veg pakora, fresh corn salad with 3 different ethnic chutneys. There is endless supply of starters. The mains had 3 sections. First is the condiments which had various chutneys and achaars and salads. Second part consisted of 2 dals, all the bhaajis, torkaris, pitika, xaak(greens), fried rice with fish innards, khaar. And the last part contained the proteins local fish with mustard, chicken curry, Dalir Bor tenga, and chicken with koldil. Dessert consisted of all things made of jaggery curd with jaggery, jaggery coated khurma and sooji halwa. Although I liked all the food items, my favourite was Dalir Bor tenga and chicken with koldil. And I also feel they could improve their flavour profile a bit. As an Assamese myself I am very critical in this matter. Service:(5/5) The best part is their service and hospitality. One of the few eateries in Assam which is entirely operated and served by women. All the women are clad in beautiful Assamese attire. There are also 2 Assamese woman robot serving food. Very cool. Everyone was constantly asking whether we wanted anything more or less even though it was peak lunch time and the place was almost full. Value for money: (4/5) Per person rate was almost Rs. 500 which I am willing to pay for such a relaxing and feel good lunch. So value for money is really high.

Heard a lot of this restaurant and we have been there today and what we found. . First of all the straters which are Pathetic as shit . Gave us some fried bones in me of chicken in starters and some boiled corns still it was okey but when they cross the limit while serving the main course, we found hairs in each and every dish of the main course and when we complained they respond nothing... We almost puked and couldn't have the dinner and even after so much they didn't gave us any discount took 2000 rs for nothing just nothing. . I highly recommend anyone not go there ... Go to barbique or somewhere else but not here.

First of all, I have to say that food industry is now in competitive platform. I went there with my wife to celebrate. But food quality and quantity disappointed us. For meat, u have to pay extra is totally rubbish. Chicken curry was like eeewww, the food was like they refrigerate and heat up for weeks till the container get empty. Pathetic. Less Quantity, less quality for two person 1100 Rs. for the customer like us, food quality and food taste is more important than your ambient decoration and ur that 🤖 robotic lady.

I went there for my hubby's birthday celebration after watching the reviews. But what I got 😡 was so terrible. I booked a table for 7 people but we were served with so little quantities. They said that because of covid they are serving at the tables. They gave us one small bowl of chicken curry for 7 people. They dont have enough rice to serve.

Absolutely pathetic food, quality is very bad I think I have food poisoning. Quantity is very less and there's a robot there which looks very creepy. I believe the food was around 3-4 days old. I would've rather ate at street vendor it would have been better. The starters were bland, the chicken felt like rock.
