Pizza King’s offers an aesthetically pleasing ambience, with a mix of French provincial style and rustic aesthetic. Please do note I went with my family on a Saturday night, at around 8 pm, my family consists of 5 people except me, and this review is therefore written with their personal experiences in mind. In terms of first impressions, the table we sat at wasn't cleaned, we had to tell the server to run a rag across it, despite which the table felt sticky and smeared with leftover food. Next up, we got the menu, and we had walk up to the front of the house for placing our order, which wasn't necessarily as much of an inconvenience as it was different, since on most restaurants I'd visited previously nearby had waiters on hand. Similarly, there was no explanation of any offer or combo, which was why we went we weren't even aware the restaurant has any such offers, which leads me to believe they were going for a "Domino's/Pizza Hut/McDonald's" vibe, which in my opinion didn't seem to work with the comfortable ambiance as much. We went to wash our hands while waiting for the food, and for the washroom, you have to maneuver around the inside of the building, again, no inconvenience for us, just different. Inside the washroom, the seat of the toilet was soiled, which was a major turn off for all of us as my 2 younger siblings desperately needed to go. We had to wait over 15 mins for our food, which we wouldn't have minded due to the comfortable, isolated environment which I absolutely adored, but the dirty table and unusually long waiting time took away from all of it. All of the order was brought over at once, and while that seemed great in the beginning, while eating, the rest of the food actually got cold, I'd never been more disappointed! Overall, the food was finger-licking-ly scrumptious, but the service majorly turned the experience all around. I'd recommend it only if you're coming with a few friends for a quick dining experience, as the food is pretty affordable as well.
