After a nice evening at Har ki Pauri, it was mandatory to end this day with a nice meal with the view of river Ganga right in front of us. What better way to experience this, sitting on the rooftop of Ganga Lahari hotel, the Patio was the best restaurant surely. This rooftop restaurant has the best view of Ganga, and they serve really amazing food as well. The live music made the atmosphere all the more memorable. We had the following while we were at The Patio. Hot and Sour soup was hot and spicy, the thickness was good, the vegetables were fresh and it was a good start to our time at The Patio. The Rajma Chawal meal was fantastic, the basmati rice was cooked to perfection, the rajma was succulent, the right amount of garlic, onion, beans, and all the masala that goes into making a superb dish. The North Indian thali had a little bit of everything, it was massive in terms of the sheer quantity they serve, so this had to be shared between four of us. The thali comes with a portion of white rice, a couple of roti, ghee, nicely cut cucumbers, pickles, a sweet dish like kheer, masala potatoes, beans palya, rajma curry, and some vegetable palya. Chilli Paratha combo comes with a couple of parathas stuffed with chilli and some veggies, served with onions, pickles, curd, and a curry too. This again would be best enjoyed if you share it as the quantity is good. The taste was amazing as well, and all the aspects of the dish were amazing. The view from The Patio is very calming and soothing as you enjoy the beautiful river Ganga flowing right in front of view. The atmosphere is amazing as well, the service is super fast, and the place is clean as well. You can walk to this place, The Patio is located on the rooftop of Ganga Lahari Hotel. What an amazing afternoon! We reached Hotel Ganga Lahari after braving the huge crowds of Haridwar, and the hospitality blew us away. Inspite of arriving at 3.10 pm when lunch closes at 3 pm, Reataurant In-Charge Mr Pradeep was warm and welcoming. The staff, led by Kailash and supported by Shakti, ensured that we had a lovely lunch. Each dish was well done be it the Pesto Pizza, Pasta in Pink Sauce, Beetroot Tikki, Palak Patta Chaat and Brownies with Ice Cream. The follow-up was a thoroughly enjoyable round of tea on the rooftop in weather that was incredible. Great service, yummy food and welcoming decor in the heart of the city - I have no hesitation in saying that this restaurant is a much visit in happening Haridwar!

I think this is the best food I have had at a restaurant in Haridwar / Rishikesh belt that is hygienic , non-street. Kudos! Also a very peaceful place to enjoy the Ganga Aarti with family.

Loved the place . Dining along the Ganga river is a different feel all by itself. Food is excellent . Don’t miss going to this place when you are in Haridwar .
