Well I must say this is a wonderful place to have a buffet as they have all the things incredibly amazing in presentation and then amazing in taste as well although I wasn't able to eat everything they offered in their buffet but whatever I ate was full of my satisfaction. I had biryani of course which was Hyderabad special but still I liked other things more then biryani may be my taste in biryani is different from others being from Muslim family and a biryani holic I try biryani everywhere so I am more choosy in case of boryani . But rest other things like salad, Paneer, mixed vegetables, soup, coffee, deserts, raita, bread everything was on point as I don't remember each item name but I do have a picture of most of the food available there and I am going to share that with all of you. Once in a life, you must visit Taj Krishna in Hyderabad and have this food experience. I am sure you all gonna love that. Also, I like the ambience and poolside area where one can spend time even alone like me. Enjoy soft music and balanced Air Conditioning which I notice everywhere I go because I believe if the person is not comfortable sorting over there cannot enjoy the food. As food should be enjoyable apart from fulfilling our hunger.

As I sat in the outdoor Alfresco dining of Taj Krishna, with a mellifluous song serenading in the background and a glass of scotch on ice in hand, I couldn’t help but ponder over winters. Well you see, we in Hyderabad don’t get the chill winds of Delhi or the absolute cool nights of Bangalore but yet associate winters with meat and a warm drink. I mean take the Hyderabadi cuisine itself for example, the Pathar ka Gosht, tikkas are absolute perfect accompaniments to a good whiskey. And that’s where the Friday BBQ nights in Taj Krishna come in. The Grill and Barbeque nights are the perfect way to unwind with the start off the weekend. For a property which stand right in the middle of the city, the Alfresco does offer a quiet corner away from the sounds and noises, overlooking the majestic Taj Krishna. And if you’re a meat lover, then know that ‘you shalt not walketh away disappointed’. The entire cooking station is divided into 3 primary sections. Starting off with the International Grills, I couldn’t have asked for a better spread with Barbecued Sticky Pork Ribs, Caribbean Jerk Chicken, Cajun Chicken Tenders being some of the few. The Seafood Grills is well-set too. Prawns, squid, octopus, mackerel and so much more to take your pick. But if you’re a pork person then the sausages and bacon are going to be hard to resist. Frankfurters, Bratwurst and Nuremberg sausages were all good, but nothing can replace bacon. And with bacon, I mean the perfectly cooked, crunchy, a hint of smokiness kind. For the vegetarians the International Grills had herb cured mushrooms, caramelized garlic charred baby carrots among others. Moving on to the next section was the Indian Grills. Considering that all your choices are made right on order, what I got on my plate each time were piping hot, fresh-made kebabs. The Lahsooni Murg Tikka had been marinated beautifully with garlic. The Gosht Shikampuri and Ajwaini Tawa Machli were cooked to perfection. The Tepenyaki section turned out to be quite interesting. I love the fact that Taj Krishna, instead of adding the usual stir fry and Indo-Chinese to the Oriental menu actually gave a thought to going a bit Korean. The choices in the Tepenyaki included chicken, tenderloin, lamb and fish in your choice of sauce. The hot buffet is small considering the large array of dishes in Grills and BBQ. But upon conversing with the chef, I could understand his chain of thought for this. The Hot buffet mostly comprises of vegetarian and is a rotating menu. The choices are kept vegetarian mostly to balance out the little tilt of the scale in favor of the non-veggies in grills. But I actually found it refreshing, taking it on a palate change between so many rounds of meat. The Friday night Alfresco dining is paired with unlimited Chivas Regal (12 Yrs), Absolut and Merlot. Ending the night with a hot crepe, I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the weekend.

Last night I met one of my closest friend after a really long time. As Hyderabad is her city she decided that we'll go to Alfresco Taj for Dinner. Its located on the right hand side of the lobby. The weather being so wonderful last night I decided to take the outdoor seating right next to the fountains. The places looked so beautiful with all the trees around and Taj Krishna proudly standing on one side. We ordered Fish Fingers and Chicken Morsels for starters out of which the chicken was delightful to tis every last bit but the fish fingers have a lot of scope for improvement. In mains we ordered Spaghetti Bolognaise and Penne al Pesto. I am not a huge fan of my pasta done al dante and so I had to send back the Penne and order Spaghetti for me as well. For drinks we had two pints beer. The food was good but what exceeded my expectations was the service. Ashish (the guy who served us) was polite, professional and well mannered. All in all it was a beautiful evening and I would love to go there again once I am done with my lap1. Carlsberg Beer: 350 Fish Fingers: 400 something Chicken: 400 something Pasta: 750 each +taxes

One of the oldest and largest hotels in the city of Hyderabad, one of the best coffee shops too that offers a good large spread for breakfast and with time they now offer a range of healthy options like vegetable juices, a lot of sprout salads in the morning and more Always good the seasonal fruits here and the chefs do a good job to even give you a platter of the same The fresh squeezed grape juice which is usually what one finds in all the hotels in south India is also a good refresh with a dash of some mint leaves too! In the cool winters or even spring would definitely suggest to sit out and grab the view of the symmetrically created Krishna’s architecture or even the greens around The eggs like the sunny side up or even the English omelette are made rather well If you’re not into eggs then good Kanjeevaram Idli with rasam or sambhar made to perfection is definitely right for you with a good choice of three chutneys to choose from and the one with tomatoes is rather unusual The bread bakery is amazing with a good spread from danish, croissants, muffins and more and herb bread is a treat when you’re having a pasta along say in the afternoon Of course you can’t miss the grandeur of the lobby each and every time that you come by to eat in here too!

The most beautiful lawn in the middle of the city. A lovely dinner with multiple dishes served to custom. The cuisines are authentic and food s yum. The service is great and quick. Breakfasts have a huge variety and the usual dishes are made on request. The location is a sure attraction with fountains and sound of continuous flowing water in the nearby golden room hotel. It is expensive beyond comparison. Food, location or service don't justify the cost. But nothing less was expected bcuz it is Taj Krishna.

I had wanted to be here from a long time (knowing that it is one of the top restuarants for romantic candlelight dinner. So finally today, for my 6th Anniversary I decide to go here. It was meant to be special for me as I am 9th months pregnant. But when we enter- the pool is not lit, it's dark there, only 1-2 tables occupied. People are busy decorating lawn for some upcoming wedding. there is some bhajan-kirtan on loudspeaker nearby so romantic feeling takes a back seat. Now regarding food- everything we ordered was not upto the mark, soup was horrible, prawns starter portion was very little so was the main course. On top of that no one was there to check on us, even for water I had to wait till someone came after every 15 mins. they were all busy serving the buffet people inside. Our dinner took us 1 and half hour to finish just because of the delay in service. And they did not give us any little special treatment for our anniversary (that most restaurants do). I am never going back there and I will not suggest any of my friends either.

Service was really bad…being used to taj mumbai this was really a bad experience with no one to attend to in whole outdoor section for more than 20 mins and food took too long to come… though food was ok time interval between each dish really killed the appetite…not an ideal place for light meals

What a pathetic Evening, how to spoil somebody's birthday evening Taj Krishna staff knows well, not deserve to be part of 5 Star, service was so poor no body comes to take order , and order comes after good long time on top of that we order pasta and pizza, pizza never came and pasta was so pathetic, it was so spicy we could not eat and very few vegetables , then we request to change and request them to add some vegetables, then the second time it was pathetic in taste and guess what the vegetables added was big pieces of carrots......we ask chef who add carrots and that too like this, he replied "you ask to add vegetables that's why i add this" ...in a five star you expect pasta with carrots whereas if we go to normal street food van they also add some zucchinis, broccoli, Mushrooms. we sat for approximately 3 hrs only 1 dish was served that was again tasteless and made in a way that nobody can eat. This the most worst five star treatment i ever get in my life!:(
