The food was really tasty, but the overall experience was really bad. The service was absolutely terrible. Most of the workers seemed to be new, so they were completely confused about how to serve. The kitchen also took a lot of time to prepare vegetarian food, which caused a significant delay. The prices are too expensive, even for regular items. Not worth the hype, IMO. If you want good food and better service, you’re better off trying other restaurants.

⭐ 1-Star Review — Very Disappointing Experience I visited AmAha Dine In, Chandanagar with my 9-year-old daughter, trusting the restaurant because of the good reviews and expecting good-quality food. Unfortunately, what happened today was extremely disappointing and honestly frightening as a parent. We ordered Raagi Mudha Natu Kodi. The Raagi Mudha had a very unusual smell and taste and appeared to be spoiled/fermented. My 9-year-old daughter, who obviously couldn’t recognize that something was wrong, mixed it with the Natu Kodi and ate almost all of it. Only at the very last bite did we taste it ourselves and immediately realize that something was seriously wrong with the food. As parents, our first thought was not about the ₹1,485 bill shown on the receipt. Our only concern was our daughter’s health. We immediately informed the manager and chef. They offered to cancel/refund the bill. But honestly, I don’t care about getting my money back. I want accountability and food quality. A restaurant may have good reviews, attractive ambience and expensive dishes, but none of that matters if the basic quality and safety of the food is not maintained. When a child is eating food served by a restaurant, customers should be able to trust that it is fresh and safe. I came here expecting quality because of the reputation and reviews. Instead, I left deeply disappointed and worried about my daughter’s health. This is not about a refund. This is about responsibility. This is about quality. This is about the trust a family places in a restaurant when they sit down to eat. I sincerely hope the management takes this complaint seriously, checks the food preparation and storage process, and ensures that no other family—especially children—has to go through a similar experience. Please don’t measure customer satisfaction by whether you refunded the bill. Measure it by whether the food you serve is safe enough for your own family to eat.

While the food was delicious, the overall experience was deeply disappointing due to poor service and disorganization. After waiting 40 minutes and following up multiple times, the manager informed us that our items were unavailable and asked us to wait another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee you’ll actually receive what you order here. A frustrating and poorly managed experience.

Pathetic service, two star quality food but five star rates. Strongly suggest everyone to not to visit this place. Staff doesn’t know how to handle public, cook doesn’t know how to cook tasteful food but Management know how to squeeze funds from customers.
