I visited for Sunday brunch. This was my 5th visit overall and my 2nd time for brunch. I had come for brunch last year when they had a Bengali special menu, and the food was amazing. The main course, starters, and desserts were all excellent, and my family was so impressed that we wanted to visit again. We visited again on March 16th, but unfortunately, this time the experience was disappointing. Except for a few items like the fish, Thai curry, and 1–2 desserts, most of the dishes lacked taste. It honestly felt like new trainees might have prepared the food, because the quality was not what we experienced before Chicken Chettinad – The gravy was good, but the chicken pieces were too large and had a slight smell. Jackfruit curry – This was very disappointing. It felt like boiled jackfruit simply coated with masala. Honestly, it was the worst jackfruit curry I’ve had.Mutton gravy – The mutton pieces were soggy and lacked texture.Starters – Most of the starters were not good.

The dining experience was underwhelming. The food was average at best, lacking standout flavors or presentation. The menu offered very limited options, which made it difficult to find something exciting or unique to try The ambiance didn’t help either—no background music, no themed decor, and no entertainment to enhance the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a lively or memorable dining experience, this spot might not hit the mark.

I went there with my parents and kids for an Alacarte menu. The food was tasteless. The service was poor that I had to escalate.

Went to Trident for lunch with family and hungry kids, only to be told at 2:45 pm that lunch would close in 15 minutes. No buffet, no à la carte, and surprisingly none of the hotel’s restaurants serve lunch past 3 pm. Basically, we were asked to finish in 15 minutes or leave. Ended up at Mainland China nearby and had a wonderful lunch instead. Disappointing and unwelcoming experience for a 5-star hotel — not returning here for lunch.

I had worst sandwich of my life at Amara Trident. Don’t try it. Waiting time was too much.
