Food was ok not worth the hype…went looking at ratings but not much variety…only dishes were good others were average…but got very good discount on the total bill.

I, along with two of my friends, had made a reservation for a buffet at Barbeque Spice, located in Abids, Hyderabad, on 07/04/2026. Having previously dined at the same establishment and enjoyed a satisfactory experience, I was genuinely looking forward to this visit. However, to my utter dismay, the experience this time was profoundly disappointing. The quality of the food was significantly below expectations. With the exception of one or two items, the majority of the offerings were substandard and lacked both flavor and freshness. What was once an enjoyable culinary experience has regrettably deteriorated into something quite the opposite. To add to the discomfort, the air conditioning was not functioning, and despite bringing this to the staff’s attention, we were met only with excuses rather than solutions. The environment became extremely uncomfortable, to the extent that we were literally sweating throughout the meal. Furthermore, a simple request for fresh lemon was declined, with the staff stating that they do not use lemons at all and instead offering a packaged lemon juice alternative, which was quite surprising for a restaurant of this nature. While the waitstaff appeared polite, they were evidently not adequately trained. The lack of professionalism and courtesy in their communication reflects more on the management than on the individuals themselves. Proper training could have significantly improved the overall interaction and service quality. The billing process was equally perplexing. The walk-in price for the buffet was approximately ₹900+, whereas booking through a food aggregator platform resulted in a charge of ₹1199. This pricing discrepancy felt misleading and unjustified, leaving us with a sense of being overcharged without any clear rationale. Dining out is typically associated with relaxation and enjoyment, but unfortunately, this experience turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare—one that is unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon. In conclusion, my recent visit to Barbeque Spice was a complete disappointment and a poor value for money. I would not recommend this establishment based on my experience.

firstly the price shared here in zomato and the restaurant rates are completely different and it vary with 350 margin. adding to it, menu shown in app and that on resturant is also different. they have stopped many starters but in app they show pricing of 799+tax for each person wherein at resturant it's 499 for each.its a fraud thing happening at resturant when we reserve a table from zomato app . coming to food and service . worst food and worst service...every one as an attitude in the resturant while serving and they do not follow what we try to communicate. food was so spoiled and when ordered for beverage it was served with full of ice cubes with less amt of actual drink...

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the recent dining experience. The food served was raw and undercooked, and the staff's service was notably slow and lacked engagement. Furthermore, the cutlery provided was chipped and unclean. The biryani and haleem were devoid of flavor, failing to justify the price point. While the ambiance was satisfactory, I will not be returning or recommending this establishment. I have since experienced food poisoning, and as a result, I intend to file a complaint with the consumer court.

1/5 – Extremely disappointing. Food was raw/undercooked, staff was pathetic and emotionless, service was very slow. Cutlery was chipped and dirty. Biryani and haleem had no taste. Not worth the price. Ambience is the only plus, but won’t return or recommend.

if you are going to Zomato or Swiggy they charge you extra and no one help you regularly buffet price 799+ gst but if you going to Zomato or Swiggy they charge 1300 for 1300 I will suggest go better buffet

The restaurant's name is Barbeque spice but there is no barbeque, honestly the worst dining experience.
