Kunafa or Kanafeh is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with shredded filo pastry, or alternatively fine semolina dough. Its cooked on low flame , soaked in sugar syrup , layered with cheese or various ingredients like nuts or cream . I had a strawberry flavoured cream .
