On Sunday, my friend and I went to Chubby Cho. We had asparagus tempura sushi, which was really delicious. Dipa suggested Pad Thai noodles, and they were amazing. She provided very good service as well.

Me n my colleague after a heavy workday.. wanted to eat something interesting. So we hit the roads, then after zomatoing, reached chubby cho. Name sounds like something feeds you to core, but I didn’t realize it until I ate. 2/4 wheeler Parking was limited. At 7:30 PM friday night was almost full. Excited to eat, ordered edamame soup, veg gyoza and mango salad.. all are good quantity and good quality My friend had thai chicken soup, prawns theriyaki and bibimbap chicken… Soups were thick and rich in said ingredients Friend complained chicken quantity was less. Appetizers or starters were excellent with right amount of sauces.. not spicy or sweet.. salad was sweet, tangy, spicy at same time in smaller quantities. All the portions were large, especially bibimbap my friend couldn’t complete it at all. Ambience-4/5 Parking-2/5 Quantity-4/5 Quality-5/5 Service-3.5/5 Value-3.5/5

the Khao Suey Ramen is a recommended dish but sadly it's neither a good Khao Suey nor a good ramen. Also we were asked if we would take out dessert before our main course was ready just because they decided to get our desert ready first and that the ice cream would melt. why would you do this? dessert is always in the end and you should not be forcing me to change my course in meal. otherwise the ambience and service were nice.

Very disappointing experience at Chubby Cho tonight, especially as someone who has visited this place multiple times before. We ordered the Pad Thai noodles, but within two bites it was obvious the noodles were undercooked/raw. We returned the dish almost untouched. Without even asking us, the staff brought another plate of the same item, even though we never requested a replacement and did not consume it either. What ruined the experience was the management’s handling of the issue. The replacement dish was still added to the bill, and when I spoke to the manager, Atul, he kept arguing and offering explanations instead of simply resolving the matter professionally. The explanation that the noodles were raw because we asked for no vegetables was honestly baffling. For a ~₹3000 bill, this wasn’t about the money, it was about accountability and customer experience. Sadly, they chose to lose a repeat customer over one wrongly charged dish.

This place is the definition of overhyped disappointment. I genuinely cannot understand how it has such high ratings. We went there expecting a decent experience, but it fell apart within minutes. Almost everything we tried to order was “not available”. Eventually, we had to settle for whatever scraps of the menu were actually available, none of which we even wanted. The food itself did nothing to justify the trouble. At best, it was mediocre — bland, uninspired, and completely forgettable. At worst, it felt like a waste of money. And speaking of money, the pricing is outright ridiculous. Charging ₹250 for a basic can of Coke is not just overpriced, it’s borderline absurd. Overall, a frustrating and overpriced experience that does not live up to its ratings in any way. Not worth the visit.

Food was not tasty. Disappointed. Mango sushi tasted more of a dessert. Ramen bowls were very bland.

Half of the options on menu weren’t available, plus the food quality was very average or mediocre.
