I recently visited Flurys, Hyderabad, hoping to experience the charm of an iconic brand. To my surprise, the place was nearly empty, which was unexpected for such a name. I ordered the American Breakfast (₹850) but faced multiple issues: • The menu clearly mentioned juice + tea/coffee, but I was told juice wasn’t available and no replacement was offered until I insisted. Only after some back-and-forth was I given an alternative. • The service was disappointing – staff seemed disinterested, with very little effort to engage or recommend. At times, I was told items weren’t available, only for another staff member to confirm that they actually were. This left me confused and uncomfortable. • Overpriced bottled water (₹70 for a ₹20 bottle) felt unreasonable. As for the food: • Coffee: Average • French toast: Okay, nothing memorable • Sausages & fried egg: Just fine • Cut fruits: Surprisingly the best part of the platter Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and not worth the price. I expected much better from such an iconic name. With more attentive service and honest communication, this place could live up to its reputation, but as of now, I didn’t find it iconic

went for Sunday lunch and wanted to order Bhetki florentine but alas they weren't serving any fish. wanted iced cappuccino but disappointed once again, no ice! Finally settled on Shakshuka, belgian mocca, vianesse coffee and southwest fried chicken. The food took a mighty 40 minutes and 3 followups to arrive! Both the coffees were nothing better than Nescafe mixed with drinking chocolate powder! the southwest chicken had a smell of frozen chicken kept in the refrigerator for too long!

I ordered a cold coffee and south-west fried chicken… they took almost an hour to serve the orders.. served hot coffee in a glass instead of cold coffee !!! It was clear they used old frozen chicken which was stinking for the south-west fried chicken.. i was beyond disappointed with the quality of food and service.. when i asked if the hot coffee can be replaced by a cold one as per my initial order, i was simply told its not possible..

We had high expectations based on what we’d heard, but the experience was disappointing. The wait time was around an hour, which was quite long. The veg pasta was undercooked and lacked flavor, and even the bread wasn’t good. The fish was just average. While there are offers like 50% off on Zomato/Dineout, the overall experience didn’t live up to the hype.
