Did not like the service. Ordered one litre of beer waiter told me hell give 500ml two times at the same price but at the end ended up charging twice for 500ml. Ambience is too loud for no reason on a weekday and they couldn’t turn down the volume

Extremely disappointing experience at Forge. What’s the point of advertising a 20% discount when you book a table through Zomato if, once customers arrive, they’re told to pay a ₹2,000 per person cover charge that isn't eligible for the discount? The discount only applies to the bill amount exceeding the cover charge, which feels misleading and more like a tactic to get people through the door than a genuine offer. We were a group of three and paid ₹6,000 upfront as cover charge. Despite that, we had absolutely no choice in seating. The place was visibly half empty, yet we were assigned a terrible table with no view of the match. Paying such a significant cover charge should at least come with some flexibility or consideration regarding seating arrangements. The staff's attitude only made things worse. They were dismissive and unhelpful throughout. The starter portions were ridiculously small for the price being charged, and the overall pricing felt excessive for the quality and quantity offered. What frustrated me the most was seeing the manager at the entrance offer a different deal to another group just because the group was from the same city ( somewhere in North) as the Manager. A group of four was charged only ₹4,000 in cover charges, and when I questioned the inconsistency, I was given a vague and unconvincing explanation. It appeared that exceptions were being made arbitrarily, which felt unfair. Overall, the experience felt misleading, overpriced, and poorly managed. Between the confusing discount policy, unreasonable cover charges, poor seating, rude staff, and inconsistent treatment of customers, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.
