*do not judge a book by its cover.. 😅Plum cake ftw 👌👍* I think all those who are fond of plum cakes and sponge cages would have heard of Golden bakery.. The plum cake here is amazing.. It has generous amount of raisins which makes it a treat to eat.. The cake isn't very tough and the texture is spongy.. I also tasted the fresh biscuits, which are okeyish.. Highly recommend the cakes here.. 👍👍

One of the oldest bakery. Had, Plum cakes, puffs, fresh buns Chocolate pastry is worthy a try. Puffs are ok. Prices are very affordable No parking place Overall ok.

Got the rich plum cake from Golden Bakery during Christmas and loved it. Also told all my friends that they should definitely try it and that it was the best plum cake I'd had in recent times. But.... we got the same "Rich Plum Cake" from Golden Bakery last week and I kid you not, it was THE WORST PLUM cake I've ever had. It was super dry, but that was the least of the problems. It had sand in almost all of it as well as a big stone as a bonus. The only thing it was rich in, was sand. We had to throw away all of it.  After this experience, I'd never even go near that horrible cake even if it were given free to me, let alone go all the way to Secunderabad to get it.

Heard a lot about the famous rich plum cake that they sell and got it last week. To my horror I found sand in the cake. Don't know if I was unlucky or if others have experienced this as well but hope the management sorts it out soon as this is very unhygienic and not something I'd expect from such an old bakery.
