As I entered the restaurant, the aroma of the biryani won my heart. The portion size was quite good, 3 people can easily order 2 plates and share. I ordered one aloo biryani and one chicken biryani with chicken chap. The meat was succulent and not dry at all and the gravy complemented the biryani perfectly. Just one single thing that I didn't like was the potato. It was okayish and not as soft as we get in Kolkata. They serve medium size whole potatoes but to get that softness right, one potato can easily be cut into halves and cooked - and that would make it perfect. Overall, I loved loved loved the biryani. In a city so far from my hometown, that plate of food was the most heartwarming and soulful

Better than many Kolkata biryani restaurants, but still unfortunately nowhere close to the authentic Kolkata biryani. In Bengali there is a saying "dudh er swadh ghole metano" which aptly describes the taste of this biryani. Portion size is lesser than the most expensive Biryani places in Kolkata at a similar price point. The two points I gave are for trying to be authentic

They are not even as huge as Oh Calcutta but look at their price, still that was OK day by day these people ruined the quality and eating up the money. And the manager of the restaurant is very extraordinary who is such illiterate who despite of giving instructions can't follow, every time I called the owner and gave the feedback still the manager continue the same. HORRIBLE SERVICE HIGH TIME TO RAISE A COMPLAINT NOW ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT

My friend recommended me to go to golmorich to have Bengali style biriyani but it's not worth at all compared to the price they are charging.taste is below average. It's a low quality stree briyani of kolkata with high quality restaurant price only. Very disappointed. Mutton piece was mostly bone which is not acceptable if you are charging so money and giving only one piece
