~HotelShadab, Ghansi Bazar, Charminar~ Relatives were in town, and so an evening visit to Charminar area was kind of mandatory. And that day we got lucky too, as we got a chance to eat in Shadab!!! For the past couple of years, every time I’ve gone to the Charminar area, I haven’t been able to eat at Shadab — something or the other always came up. Some days there were long queues, and on other days, it just didn’t work out for some reason. On that memorable day (23rd May), we reached Shadab at around 8 PM, and to our surprise, we were seated immediately. Odered a Chicken Kabab platter and couple of Mutton Biryanis (for some reason, the waiter was not very keen to serve us a family pack and insisted that we order full biryanis; didn't get the reason, but didn't pester either). Kababs were really juicy and flavourful, and the Biryani was-- Oh My Gosh!!! Flavourful yet not overtly spicy, rightly moist and with right amounts of white rice and masala rice--it was just heavenly. No doubt that they have such heavy rush almost everytime.

A 4.5/5 for a biryani flavour bomb! Shadab gets brutally crowded during lunch with famished patrons lining up for their famed mutton biryani. Had to inevitably opt for a parcel but the biryani was fab - only slightly oily but no complaints at all. Easily among the best I've tasted in the country - the meat pieces were just yummmm! Looking forward to trying the other items too!

The best briyani one can experience.The AC section was well managed and inspite of the Friday crowd we got the seats for 3 within 5 minutes.Service was good considering the crowd .The best thing about the briyani -You won’t find it greasy or the heaviness after having it and the Chicken is absolutely tender .A must have when you are in Hyderabad

Captain iqbal was handling the entire show very well Very professionally and sincerely Waiter peter also served the food very well Strongly recommend hotel shadab for everyone for great taste and service

After completing sight seeing of charminar i was led to believe that Hotel Shadab holds the name for decent biryani. I went there just to found out forget decency there staff doesn’t even talk and take order properly. First we were denied seats being 10 people though there were empty seats. Hotel management is worst on preparing and giving orders on time. A coke took them that much time that by the time it came biryani got cold. And once i asked for another dish of biryani it took me 10 mins for them to listen to my order and another 20 mins to bring it. Overall food wasn’t great as well and I couldn’t even have a single piece of mutton because of the smell. But hey whom to tell their staff doesn’t even listen for taking orders forget they even listen to complaints. They really have to work on their staff and management it’s really rude and indecent.

I have been dining in Shadab for a quite a sometime and this has always been an issues her with long waiting hours to get you seat. But the only reason I go there is for the amazing food. Last month experience was terrible right from Food, service, management. Entire experience is disappointment. They don't care if want to have the food or not..they gave me a feeling like why I have come here..not bothered of taking the order, serving, plating and food was terrible

Person who wrote name for waiting people is very arrogant and rude. Doesnt know ho to behave with customer. There was a delay in our sweet dish and once we complained he simply cancelled the order and gave us the bill. He had fight with two groups as well. Management should think of removing that person as it will create bad picture of the restaurant. I will not suggest anybody to go due to his behaviour

They didn't let me sit inside in the AC area, nor wrote my name (for waiting) for the AC dining, just because I went there alone, and they didn't want to give a seat to a single person.

Worst behaviour of staff in the AC section, taste was not up to the mark. Long waiting time for food. No parking place. Better go to other restaurants near by.

They don’t accept district or online payment. Dont serve to normal people. Crowd is heavy
