The food was good. this one star rating mainly for the service. first we booked the table at 2pm we arrived on time and we were asked to wait till 2:30 then server came at 2:45 food came by 3:10 Then there was constant followups for glasses, water bottles. rice, followup orders, asking for service to serve food and so on. no complains about food but we booked at 2 and the first food we ate was at 3:10 this what is very disappointing

I’ve been a regular customer at Itlu and have generally appreciated the food here, which is why this particular experience was quite disappointing. On the day in question, I called well before the 11:30 AM breakfast cutoff to check if I could place an order in advance for items like dosa and idli, as I knew I might not be able to physically reach the restaurant before the deadline. I clearly mentioned that I was happy to make an advance payment as well. However, the manager refused to take the order altogether. While I fully understand that restaurants operate within defined service timings, it was surprising that even a simple advance order—placed before the cutoff and with an offer of upfront payment—could not be accommodated. Most establishments are usually willing to extend such basic flexibility, especially when a regular customer is making a reasonable request. What made the experience particularly disappointing was the lack of willingness to even consider a small accommodation. Situations like these leave the impression that customer convenience is not really a priority. I genuinely enjoy the food here, but experiences like this do take away from the overall impression of the place. I hope the management reflects on this and considers adopting a slightly more customer-friendly approach in the future.

Not a pleasant experience, from seating arrangement to serving , less salt, limited items in thali, even fry curry missing, even though finger Bowl arrangement is there, was instructed to use washbasin , felt like deliberately done ....overall not pleasant experience with you visit with family with elderly parents. definitely not going visit again...

The food quality was disappointing. Despite the high prices, the quantity served was very small. I do not recommend this place.
